Junior ladies are so hard to predict! Depending on how she does at GPF, Marin Honda might could make the jr world team as well

I thought Hanyu had indicated that he was planning on going to 4CC this year as it was the one champion event title he did not have?

You mean 4CC ? I guess it will depends if this will not affects his preparation for Worlds. And actually I am a little scared because I have feeling he may want to try that quad loop already this season :disapp:
If he goes to 4CC for sure he will try 4T3T in 2nd half of SP

Yes that is what i meant... i was on wiki double checking stuff...

I could see him thinking 4CC is a great place to try the 4L....and really better there than worlds... I think. I think you may be right that he might want to get that first 4L in comp locked down.

I could also see him wanting the triple crown of sorts for the skating year.

The japanese men's team for worlds is pretty much set in stone by now. They should give those guys some rest and replace the competition with a 3 days long gala celebration :dance3:

As for Yuzuru and 4CC: if he wants to try 4Lo this season, go for it. He's earned it with his performances so far. But I'm not convinced Mama Orser will let him. It depends on what strategy they have for worlds I guess - give him a longer rest after Nats so he can recover and peak a 2nd time at worlds, or keep the form up and use 4CC as another test.

I just hope he manages to be healthy at worlds for once... :slink:

Junior Worlds
Ladies: Honda, Highchi, Shiraiwa
Men: Yamamoto, no idea...
Dance: Fukase/Tateno

4CC (No pairs...)
Men: Hanyu, Uno, Murakami
Ladies: Miyahara, Asada, Murakami
Dance: Muramoto/Reed, Hirai/de la Asuncion

Worlds:
Men: Hanyu, Uno
Ladies: Miyahara, Asada, Hongo
Dance: Muramoto/Reed, Hirai/de la Asuncion

Hoping they swap out the third skater for 4CC for the actual third place skater for Worlds. It lets more people go to things.

Actually Japan does not have three spots for men this year.

Yuzu: I am gonna take out the 4T after 4S from LP?

Mama O: And?

Yuzu: And I will do 4Lo instead.

Mama O: No

Yuzu: Yes. No risk of Zayak since the original repeated jump is 4T. Even if I pop the 4Lo into 3Lo, I would still be okay.

Mama O: No.

Yuzu: Yes. What do you say, Pooh-san?

Pooh-san: Yes.

Mama O faintz.
