I asked around. The morning practice was closed last year. Some fans managed to catch the last morning session with the day ticket.

I see so it means the best time to go on the 13th is 2pm?
Since the competition starts at 3pm?

No, it depends. I only listed Senior Men's schedule above. On the 13th, the competition starts at 10:15 am with Free Dance. The ticket booth will open a little bit earlier.

Some fans prefer the front row. They come when the ticket booth opens, buy the ticket, and grab the seat. KSU does not assign seat numbers.

As for myself, I have another schedule that day, so cannot watch the entire competition. I would arrive at 3 pm. This will give me just enough time for the final flight of Sr Men, then podium ceremonies and gala.

Thanks for the tip. I can come early and might as well take the chance for upfront seats.
Looks like I need to bring something to eat and drink?
Or should I bring a blanket to cover my chosen seat when I make a run to have a meal?

* The small cafeteria on the first floor was open during the ranking competition. They serve small dish, hot dog and takeout coffee. Bringing your own snack is also OK. The food court and market at the basement of Hyundai Department Store is good.

* You are right. You should cover your seat with something when you are away.

The ticket price has been announced.

* Friday: Free
* Saturday: Day ticket at KRW 15,000 (~ USD 13). The ticket booth will open at 7:30 AM.
* Sunday: Day ticket at KRW 15,000 (~ USD 13). The ticket booth will open at 7:00 AM.

There are two ice surfaces at Mokdong:

* The competition happens at the main rink. Its ticket booth is facing outside at a round corner of the building, near the cafeteria. The audience entrance to the main rink is on the second floor.

The first photo of this news article shows the ticket booth:

* The basement rink is for the general public. It has its own ticket booths next to the first floor entrance. Do not go to this booth.
