2015-16 Skate Korea, December 4-6

This event also called as "Ranking Competition".

1. Date of competition: December 4-6, 2015 (*detail schedule will be announced after November 23th)
2. A Practice session: December 2-3, 2015
3. Place of competition: Mokdong Ice Rink, Seoul, South Korea
4. Date of Representative Conference: TBD
5. About Competition
-Applying ISU judging system for ladies, men, pairs, ice dances
-Qualification for participation: Skaters of level 5 and over (=can perform double axel, at least)
-Ladies/Men Group 1: Under ISU Senior Rules, Skaters of age 13 and over
-Ladies/Men Group 2: Under ISU Junior Rules, Skaters of age under 13
-Pairs Senior/Junior: following ISU age system
-Ice dance Senior/Junior: following ISU age system
6. At each event, there will be free cuts. (~24th place at short program only can do free skating)
7. Entry deadline: 16:00 November 19th, 2015

8. This event is selection event of 2016 4CC and 2016 Youth Olympics. (and also one of selection event of 2016 national team members, along with 2016 Korean nationals (January 2016).
-for 2016 4CC: 3 ladies, 3 men, 3 pair teams, 3 ice dance teams (For whom only qualified minimum TES before this event, and qualified senior age)
-for 2016 Youth Olympics: 1 lady, 1 man, 1 pair team (For whom only qualified age requirements)

There will be final selection of 4CC and Youth Olympics based on this event and recommendation of Committee.

Sorry, I just heard that she had injuries.... and don't know anything more than that.
Hope she gets better and fights for this competition!!

Awww I hope she gets better soon then! I really liked her SP from last year. She too, has a lot of potential so I'm kinda bummed about this. Thanks for the info again

And I also found that Seo young Shin is not in the entry lists. She should've been there at the ladies group 2...
She was not in good shape at last competition, but maybe she injured too?
I love her performances, so worried about her.

Good news is that there are some new teams at pairs.
Bad news, I heard that Kim/Kam at pairs broke up.

Oh no! Kim and Kam were really very charming on the ice, and made a visible impact on both the judges and the audience at JGP Colorado Springs this fall

Maybe there will be no entrance fee, and no livestream.
But as usual, Daum, Korea's one of biggest portal site may upload delay broadcasts.
And KSU announced that there will be 30 skaters going to free skating this time, at only "Ladies Group 1" competition.
Maybe due to numbers of skaters who entered the competition.

NOOOOOOO! I definitely thought they had potential as their SBS jumps were really good and they could have possibly been invited to the Team Challenge Cup!

I wonder what caused them to break up? Any news/gossip out there?

I guess we'll have to see the new pairs and how they are doing, but I'm assuming that Japan will now get that second pairs spot for Team Asia at TCC...

I'll be disappointed if Kim/kam split. They were wonderful in their Colorado JGP!

On a happier note: GOOOO So-Youn! And So-Hyun and Da-Bin...can't decide who I'd rather see win!

No information yet. Maybe it`s all just gossips, but they should have participate this event if they wanted to get tickets for youth olympics, but they didn`t, so fans are just guessing... And some fans also said that they don`t train with each other anymore, by sneaking their instagram.

Today`s Practice Reports by some fans` tweets.
-There were so many 3-3 practicing on coach Chi`s team.
-Se jong Byun practiced his step sequences 3 times in a row at the end of the practice.
-So youn`s 3S was little bit shaky, but she managed to do 3T after that.
-Hae jin`s FS is Turandot, and there`s so many choreographies, wonder she can manage all of those. At the end of the practice, her jumps look good.
-Hwi Choi looks good. She landed all jumps, and her SP is same as her 2013-14 season`s SP.

ahhhh Hwi Choi i wonder what happened between her partner but her SP from 2014/2015 season is one of my favourites from junior ladies that season :luv17: and she has "true Yuna-camel "
