Just me, but I really like the Polish team. They have a lot of promise.

Does anyone know anything about the silver medallist, Igor REZNICHENKO of Poland? I have not heard of him before.

Not really. Other than fact that he's Ukrainian representing Poland... he did not compete internationally this season, but he did participate in Polish competition which he has won.

Neither had I. But, to be honest, I have never really had any reason to pay much attention to what is going on in Ukrainian skating over the years.

All I have been able to find out about him is what I found on his ISU Bio ( http://www.isuresults.com/bios/isufs00011207.htm ) and his Stats On Ice profile ( https://statsonice.com/skater/Igor/Reznichenko/ )

But, by the looks of things, he represented his native Ukraine until the end of the 2013-14 season, then sat out last season, and came back this season representing Poland.

I have no idea why he switched countries, or if he has any connections to Poland which could explain why he opted for that particular county.

Yes, that is something I have been wondering about as well.

For as long as I have been paying attention to Four Nationals (and Three Nationals before it), there have not been any Junior Singles competitions on the schedule. The only Junior (and occasionally Novice) competitions have been in Pairs and/or Ice Dance.

I was just going through Wikipedia and clicking on links to old Entries/Results Pages, and the only time there were Junior Singles competitions was at the December 2010 Three Nationals held in Slovakia.

So, I would like to think that each country holds separate Junior Nationals for the Singles categories.

Although I couldn't find any pages on Wikipedia about separate Junior Nationals, there were sone hints that this is in fact what happens. At the bottom of the page for the December 2012 edition, there is a link for the Entries / Results Page for Polish Junior Nationals, which were held in January 2013.

Similarly, at the bottom of the page for the December 2011 edition, there are links for results for Czech (February 2012), Polish (January 2012) and Slovak Junior Nationals (Although, the Slovak link doesn't work any more).

There has been no mention of anything in the more recent Championship pages. But, I would assume that each country still has separate Junior National Championships.

Polish Championships for Juniors will be held at 29-30.01.2016. in Gdansk I would put a link to anouncement, but it's all in Polish anyway...
