This is a thread inspired by TSL's 5 in 5:00, a new series of videos that countdown their favourite pieces of news, social media etc or 'five things (they) are thinking about' in the skating world in just five minutes. Watch if you can! It is a short and fun video.

It may be too in-depth to be fluff, but this is a look back-stage at Japan Nationals.

From the perspective of coaches, the Junior Medalists who have won the right to compete in Seniors, and the Senior skaters. It was heart-warming and heart-breaking.
It's not just focused on Yuzu and Mao like so many other fluff pieces are. You get to see the interactions of many skaters and their stories.

Coaches: Tsuzuki Shoichiro 77 years, coached Sano Minoru, Mura Takashi (Mura's dad and coach) Nagakubo (Akiko, Rika and Sota's coach) and was one of Yuzu's first coaches when he was a novice. Now coaching Yuna A.

Nagakubo is teased by Tsuzuki and reminded that he was a really bad student who did not listen to instructions.
Now they are both 'grandpa' age together, even though they were once coach and student.

Men: Yuzu, Shoma, Mura, Kozuka, Keiji, Ryuju and a bit of Sota
Back stage, they all talk together about what Shoma should have done about his jump layout after popping the 4T. Shoma said he's trying a 4T-Lo-3F combo and landing it in practice.
Yuzu says "I suuucked" in the kiss and cry, Brian says "you started strong"
Kozuka had some bootlace problems and nearly didn't make the time to start his program.

All the Juniors watching Mao's EX at the end was so cute and then the guys at the Gala practice, egging each other on to try crazy jumps and jump combos.

Anyway the clip is full of really cute moments. On the whole, the boys seem more relaxed and chatty than the girls, but the girls also seem friendly towards each other. Satoko and Rika say they get along well and they make each other laugh. In another interview, Rika says Satoko is funny! What kind of jokes do you think Satoko tells? The mind boggles.
