2016 Russian Jr. Nationals Men SP

Did Petrov compete at any junior events this season? Since there are only 2 spots for the Russian men at senior worlds, it would make sense if he went back to Junior Worlds, but I'm not sure he has the TES minimums from a junior competition? Seems like there is a big gap between Aliev & Samarin and everyone else, and there are 3 spots for JW.
