Entries are online!

We already knew the entries from Canada, Japan and USA, now we have the complete list. The biggest surprise is the absence of Elizabet Tursynbaeva, but maybe she take part to the Youth Olympics the same week?

Thanks! So much to look forward to. For me, I'm most interested in the Shoma-Patrick-Denis-Boyang match-up. :clapper:

Has anyone from north korea ever competed at Four Continents before.
Also, typic that they send a skater in an event where there are no south koreans.

only 2 pairs for China??

as if its not enough that they dont send their skaters to Senior B events, they are denying their skaters participations to ISU events? is there any possiblity that P/Z might be ready for 4CC? otherwise i see no logical explanation that they wont send Wang/Wang :disapp: :sarcasm: its not like they will have to worry about keeping spots for next year

It will be the 1st time they compete at Four Continents!
Usually they only compete at Olympic qualifications and rarely at Worlds (last time in pairs in 2012, but they didn't qualify for the free program)

For the chinese pairs, Wang/Wang have the minima, and the junior team Zhao/Xie too (and they are age-eligible in senior)
And Wang/Wang were competing this week at the Chinese National Grand Prix... so very strange they don't go to 4C!

This pair actually isn't bad- they have content on par with the B level European teams out there, and had a very promising outing at the Ice Challenge this year, exceeding everyone in the thread who was watching live's expectations and easily getting the tech minimums for this event. I am glad that their federation decided to send them here, whatever the reason- while among this small field they will probably finish close to or at the bottom, they are an absolutely fine team with some nice qualities and they deserve competitive experience as much as any other team at their level, regardless of what country they are from.

SUPPOSEDLY W/W couldn't get the visa necessary to come to Taiwan, much like Misha Ge's situation with TEB. I find that odd, as nothing indicates why S/H and Y/J can go but W/W can't (maybe there's not enough time?), but I also really want to believe this is the case as opposed to Team China intentionally throwing away a spot...
