But, they have done a sort of a compromise. They have him finishing off the first half. :biggrin:

And we have 2 Kings invited - the Potato King (Brezina) and the Gypsy King (Righini/Bariev)!!!

Hey, do you think somebody could pull a few strings to get THE KING (Plushenko), and then we would have 3 Kings? :biggrin: :biggrin: :biggrin:

By the way, you know the way you have pinched a couple of things from my TV post.

I see you have deliberately selected countries that are showing LIVE coverage. But, although Eurosport France says they have LIVE coverage of the Gala, looking at the latest schedule on the website ( http://tv.eurosport.fr/ ), it looks like it is actually delayed coverage.

And the same looks to be the case with Eurosport Italia ( http://tv.it.eurosport.com/ )

So, it might be a good idea to remove France from the post, and leave just Germany ( http://tv.eurosport.de/ ), who ARE showing the whole Gala LIVE.


By the way, if anybody wants to know how to watch the Gala LIVE with English commentary, here are the instructions (amended from this post):

For viewers in countries not showing the Gala LIVE, if you are subscribed to Eurosport Player, open up a VPN, and go to the German version of the Eurosport Player site, http://www.eurosportplayer.de/

Don't worry. Although everything is written in German, the procedure is EXACTLY the same as in the English version.

After you sign in, open up Eurosport 2. Click on the settings button on the video. On the British version, the only thing you can change is the picture quality. But on the other versions, there is also the option to change the language. On the German version, the options are German (DE) and English (EN). Just click on the EN button, and it will change soundtrack straight away.

And you are ready to go in the company of Chris and Nicky!​

I was already sad that I'm not seeing Mikhail (well I understand they can't miss Michal in Slovakia and happy that Ivan finally have a chance to do gala this season), but then to find there's no Stepanova / Bukin either :cry: :cry:

I'll be happy to see Angelina though I sincerely hope it's not her last season SP Carmen, yet another warhorse :drama:

Just watching the women's slalom from Maribor at the minute, and they are really struggling to get the competition run due to rain.

Also, we have had an announcement that the men's Giant Slalom from Garmisch-Partenkirchen has been cancelled.

Consequently, there are liable to be major changes to the Eurosport schedules. So, keep an eye on your local Eurosport listings, as the Gala might end up being shown LIVE after all.

To fill in the time when they should have been showing the Men's GS, Eurosport 2 are now showing the ski jumping competition that was held overnight in Japan.

Now, given that this is what British Eurosport 2 were intending to show instead of LIVE coverage of the Gala, I would say it is highly likely that they will show the Gala LIVE after all.
