Ah. Just noticed that Katie is coached by Ashley Cain's auntie!
Good to see that both Peter and Liz are still involved with the sport.
Never seen Katie before, but she's not bad!
Has she got a bandage on her right leg under her tights?

Oh, I like Katie -- her smile, her freckles, her spirit, her music choice, and the joy she skated with. Lovely.
Someone said during the US nationals ladies SP they felt sorry for people who paid to see that competition. That was just stupid. There was so much to enjoy in those skates.
That's how I felt watching Katie. Although there were mistakes, there was a lot to enjoy and admire.

During the Short Dance, somebody was commenting that there were more people in the upper stands, but just not in the lower stands.
I didn't see it myself, though. So, I don't know if it was an accurate assessment.

When Maisy came on there and the graphic came up, it was so strange to see the name "Christine Krall" as a coach.
I don't think I've ever heard anybody call Christy by her proper name before!
But, she's got a very promising pupil here!
