As expected, two Russian teams in lead followed by American one. Good thing the scores are close enough for Free Dance to be really interesting :hap93:

Btw. I don't know what song was in French team SD, but it was not Howl's Moving Castle as their ISU Bio states. They must have changed it recently.

Here's the video of Wagret/Couyras SD: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJIEd8UWGFk

It is I Won't Give Up by Jason Mraz, but probably performed by someone else, maybe Glee? followed by 1 2 3 4 by Feist. The bio says both songs were in Howl's Moving Castle...about which I would not know.

Oh no, they are not in the movie. Howl's Moving Castle is japanese animated movie by Hayao Miyazaki. The music is all instrumental. Monko/Khaliavin used it this season too in SD. And it is true, they had performed to the music from the movie earlier this season as I checked on youtube. Their ISU Bios are just not updated, as I think it must have been their first time to perform to songs you identified :) I just took notice as I knew what they should have performed according to ISU Bio and what they actually did perform to. Thanks for identifying songs, I knew it the singer sounds familiar ;)

Is it my computer, or is anybody else just looking at a black screen with a buffering circle?

Everything is fine for me.

It was just me (probably because I had 30 Stats On Ice profiles open in another window for my 4 Continents Men's predictions :slink: )

But I restarted the computer, and got back just in time for the first couple.

and we have commentator!! does anyone know who is he?

It's Charlie Brougham. He normally commentates on Alpine Skiing for the BBC.

He was commentating on the Cross-Country on Saturday, so I take it he is doing all the Youth Olympics commentary.

(And apologies, I got him mixed up with his normal co-commentator Graham Bell when I posted about there being commentary in the General Discussion thread on Saturday : )
