Her coach is Júlia Sebestyén. Klára Engi ( ice dancer, Klára Engi/ Attila Tóth. Attila Tóth and Ivett Tóth aren't related to each other) helps to Júlia.

i didnt want to gush about how much i like her at 1st post so here i go. I REALLY LIKE HER!! and i think she has everything to be a podium contender, big jumps and great preence on the ice and i really love her spins and speed she has, she tends to pop jumps but i believe she will get better once she starts to feel more confident :yahoo:
i found a video of her and Julia with Ted from last year's JGP (cant believe i didnt see it before, probably too focused on her competition videos ), she is speaking English :luv17: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNKSLY-l9AM

and another TV interview waiting for volunteers to be translated  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vfCTJ1eRMs

Wow, her English is excellent! I agree that she has a lot of great qualities and excellent musicality - I really enjoy her programs. It's never easy for the smaller fed skaters to break through, but she is young and has so much potential, so let's hope...

And here's one more long interview that came up in my Youtube recs (don't worry plushyfan, you don't have to translate them all ;) but we are very lucky to have you here!)

Ivett was 11th at ECH 2016 but she was 33rd in last year at ECH. The reporter congratulated her and asked how could she improve so much in one year.
Ivett said he changed her coach, they worked so much. Ivett is strong in jumps, she knows five types triples. She improved in spins and her footworks became 3rd level. Her favorite jumps are 2A, and 3Lz.

She talked about the plans of future.
JWCH: She is happy because she will perform in front of the home crowd.
WCH Boston her main goal to perform the LP.

nothing interesting...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmniAc5uHuQ

At JWCH after her good SP. She was the latest skater in SP . The reporter asked her this was good or not for her? She said that is not problem, she learned to handle such things. She had two goals:

1. to skate in the finale
2. to skate her best

She achieved the first goal, but she can improve in LP skate because she jumped 3-2 instead of 3-3 and did a mistake in solo triple. She hopes she will skate a better program next day.

Júlia Sebestyén: She is proud of Ivett, because it is hard to skate in front of the home crowd. She also said Ivett can improve in the LP. They are satesfied because Ivett was 28th in last year at JWCH.

Ivett always makes me think of Ziggy. He first pointed her out as one to watch when she made her JGP debut.

Thank you so much for starting this thread. I was thinking of that myself but felt guilty that I do not give enough time to the threads I have already started.

I never saw Ivett before the Euros in Bratislava but she just won my heart there. She looks so well on the ice like she was born to be a skater. Her potential is very good and she is lucky to find a first class coach in her own country so doesn't need to leave home. I think Julia & Ivett make a great team and I wish them a success with all my heart!

Good luck Ivett for tomorrow!!!!!:cheer2:

I've only been starting to post since a month or so and I haven't seen that a topic was made for Ivett. Thank you matmuh! :thank:

I'm an another Hungarian fan of her, so feel free to post anything which is needed to be translated. ;)

so, worlds didnt go as planned for Ivett but she was smiling regardless of how she performed and thats what matter, its all about experience, she is still young and has bright future ahead of her!
here is her SP : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fkiEjPMDwcg; Nicky really likes her!
and here are some photos from her fb

I absolutely liked her positive attitude at Worlds. She has a really long season behind her and I know that - regardless that she couldn't qualify for the FS - she is satisfied and happy because she had many successful competitions and gained lots of experience as well. :agree:

Now, as far as I know, she is preparing for her A-level exams which will start just in a month. Fingers crossed, Ivett!

In the interview she said that the French choreographer choreographed the step sequences in both of her programs this season, and these are now completely on a different level than her SS were before (Lvl 3 and 4). The other thing she helped Ivett is the better communications towards the judges and spectacors. Together with Juli Sebestyén they say that they finally found the best style of skating for Ivett. Juli also says that her LP is really demanding because there are every kind of different movements and there is no time making thoughts during the program, plus Ivett has to watch out for every part of her music (rhythm etc). Ivett hasn't competed for half a year so her first competition was in Bratislava, and Juli hopes that her skating will get better event by event.

Ivett has competed at the Cup of Nice this weekend, where she finished on 6th place. She got level 4s on her spins and step sequences! :)
