I am going to catch up on this tonight. I have company coming this evening, and am madly cleaning & cooking. Checking in to see your comments makes me happy! Thank you!
Oh team Russia 2 was AWESOME! :luv17:
If this is their team 2, I expect team 1 to blow the roof off!!
ETA Their coach's reaction :rofl2:

First chills of the competition: thank you team USA 1!! What a wonderfully choreographed programme. Absolutely fab.
I usually hate that move where one skater pulls the other backwards by their skate, but it looked really cool here (and I didn't mind Bruno & Aliona doing it either)
I'm feeling a bit lonely here - is anybody else watching?
I saw Team 1 at a competition earlier in the season...amazing.

I am
I prefered the Russia 2 team to the USA 1 but I guess the americans had a better technical content.
Woah, that final element the Finns did looked really cool from above!

The above view is really cool for synchro skating. I hate when they use it in artistic and rhythmic gymnastics.
WHAT is going on with NEXXICE and MIU this season? Both teams are really foundering compared to their usual standard
ETA Sorry I forgot that NEXXICE got 2nd at their championships and it was the other Canadian team as Team 1 this time. But losing the Canadians was unusual, too...
I think a few of the skaters from the WC winning team retired. They also had some injuries, and Lee Chandler, who had retired, even had to come back. They scrambled to get it together for Grand Prix Final and eked out the bronze. Bev Smith wrote about some of their troubles. Recently, they held trials for new members for the senior team. I think they are in the middle of changing their team.
