How does everyone think he'll do in his first junior season internationally?

Two years ago I would say: Great, with no doubt. Now he tends to pop his jumps or land on two legs. Brian Orser cuts on his jump training because of legs pain accompanying to growth, but tries to improve other skills. In result Stephen is better in spins and far better in interpretation, as I could notice recently.
It will be interesting to see him dealing with other juniors internationally, as he had no competition in Canada. Let's see how he manages in grow-up boys world today

This kid is simply amazing. I knew he could jump but wow he's really doing everything so well now. Brian is truly doing something incredible. It's like a perfect experiment of giving a true talent to a teacher really knows what to do with it.

Also he is just so tiny among all of the big boys lol. I was in the arena today and almost felt like he's just half the size of Nic Nadeau.

I had attended the SC Challenge where they both competed, and I thought the exact same thing!

RDS (the French version of TSN) was generous enough to air Stephen's Nationals LP, in case some of you might be interested in the French commentary: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6dbunv

Although I had filmed this with my camera (which creates 1080p videos) from my friend's TV screen, the quality is fairly good for this type of recording. I don't have a tripod, so I did my best not to move my hands as much as possible, but because there was no commercial break in between his performance and his kiss & cry, it's quite obvious that my arms were getting tired by the end because his scores are at an angle. (Hey, it's not easy to keep a camera still with only your hands for nearly 7.5 minutes straight.)

I've cut these from the archived livestream.

Myriane Samson's French commentary from the livestream:

SP: https://vimeo.com/251648449 The sound is missing between 0:30 and 1:33, but there was no commentary during that time period.

To my surprise Stephen briefly appears in the video about Shoma's training in Montreal with Romain Haguenauer (from 9:05). Seems both dealt with the same excersise

I see Patrick in today's Q&A named Stephen as a young Canadian talent to keep an eye on: https://twitter.com/Pchiddy/status/985902598233485312
