What did he ask?
Whether Alina should switch countries because otherwise he thinks she has slim chances of making it onto next olympic games
Yuko was like: "You don't know what's going to happen by Olympics"
What did he ask?
What did he ask?
From my poor understanding russian: with the girls like Sasha, Aliona and Anna, if it would help to skaters like Alina to change citizenschip... :whack:
Looks like Alina and Masaru Zagitova are set to get their first ever roles in a movie!
It’s a russian-Japanese movie, how fitting!

That sounds very interesting. Are there more details of what this is about?

So, the movie is called 'Palma" (Palm tree, a dog's nickname), directed by Alexander Domogarov . It's about a god owner who has to leave his dog Palma at the airport, when he wasn't allowed to take his dog abroad with him, and it has to wait for him there.
From yesterday’s conversation with the manager of Shiseido: “Yes, now we will always be present at the Rostelecom Cup, because we have Alina.”

The events take place in 70s, in ussr. They will film the movie in both Japan and Russia.
I think since the scenario is reminiscent of Hachiko, Alina and Masaru will play some sort of reference to Hachiko movie. Hachiko was also a Akita Inu.
This is Palma, the real life prototype of the movie character, she waited for 2 years for her owner that left her on the runway because he didn't have the necessary med certificate for her. She lived near the Vnukovo airport runway and met and saw off every single IL-18 plane that arrived or left the airport (her owner left in one of those, and she remembered). She became famous after one of the pilots based in Vnukovo noticed her, and an article appeared in one the major newspapers. The owner never returned, but Palma was adopted by a family in another city. Took her a while to adapt and trust people again, but she finally did. And gave birth to 3 puppies later
Russian part of the "Palma's Story" has already been shot - main characters - Palma and Kolya. Alina and Masaru will appear in the additional scenes that would be added to the Japanese version of the movie by 2020.
