An amazing girl who earned an amazing SP score at her international JGP debut - 68.07 points.

Alina's SP at JGP France.

If she can keep her emotions in check, she will probably make a splash this season. Her and maybe the other Izhevsk girl.

well she's not inconsistent now...

amazing how a coaching change to Eteri improved her a lot in just a few months.
she needs to work on her skating skills, she has a shot at winning the JGP Final.

So-so. I saw some worries notes on her face before she started her program. And I guess it made her jumps look not consistent. But I hope she will get used for JGP competitions and will be more calm.

yes, she still needs a lot of refinement and improvement.

* skating skills
* improve her speed
* too rushed in movement transitions
* "wild" tilted axis on her jumps needs improvement

First win in her junior debut season is a big achievement for Alina. Honestly her skating looked very rushed and unrefined, and she needs to work a lot on the basics and her jump technique. Still, Congratulations!

Alina's total score was also 2nd highest score ever by junior. Only Polina has scored higher. What a way to make your international debut!!

I'm honestly pretty surprised with her result in France! But also very glad for her. I remember seeing her last season at internal Russian cup event, and she wasn't nearly as good. nice, very nice improvement, especially in Skating Skills. Vey light and airy, her style of skating reminds me of Lipnitskaia a little bit. :)

For me Alina is the ultimate Eteri's skater at this stage. All of "the big four": Yulia, Sima, Evgeniya, and Polina were different. I can see all of them in Alina now. Plus she added 0+7 and rippons to get to the theoretical BV maximum. Her landings were sometimes rough but she has correct edges. Her positions were sometimes shaky and unrefined - but it was just her first competition. Eteri knows how to make girls skate consistently. If Alina hangs on, makes improvements in landings and positions, her TES will go through the roof. And she created the basis for her pcs further growth - 84 combined - it is already at the level of Polina's last season. And it will only grow if she does not fall.

I think, she has all the makings to be unbeatable this season. With correct edges she is special for Eteri (even Polina had occasional calls). Such unexpected. Bravo!

My little heroine Lozko better be good now. Looks like there is suddenly a new boss.
