Aleksandra Igorevna BOIKOVA (Russian: Александра Игоревна БОЙКОВА) and Dmitrii Eduardovich KOZLOVSKII (Russian: Дмитрий Эдуардович Козловский) / Dmitrii Eduardovich NEKHVIADOVICH (Russian: Дмитрий Эдуардович Нехвядович) are Pairs skaters who represent Russia. They are the 2020 European Champions in Pair Skating.

Aleksandra Boikova was born on 20 January 2002 in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

Dmitrii Kozlovskii was born on 23 December 1999 in Saint Petersburg, Russia

They are the 2020 Russian national champions, the 2021 and 2022 Russian national silver medalists, 2019 European bronze medalists, the 2019 Skate Canada champion, the 2017 World Junior silver medalists, 2016–17 2017 World Junior silver medalists, 2016–17 Junior Grand Prix Final bronze medalists, 2019 Russian national bronze medalists, and 2017 Russian national junior champions. Before teaming up with Kozlovskii, Boikova trained as a single skater in Alexei Mishin's group until late 2015. In November 2015, Boikova started skating with Dmitrii, who had switched to the discipline four months earlier.

They are currently coached by Artur Minchuk and Tamara Moskvina in Saint Petersburg.

Before forming their partnership, Aleksandra and Dmitrii both competed in Singles skating.

Consequently, rather than having just one “Original Post”, this Fan Fest has three!

The first post (this one) is for the Pairs partnership.
The second post is for Aleksandra as a Singles skater.
The third post is for Dmitrii as a Singles skater.

Personal Best Scores

The Personal Best and Season Best scores that the ISU uses for a skater only take into consideration certain competitions. For example, they do not take into consideration domestic competitions, such as Sectional, Regional or National Championships.

However, confusion arises when you come to the Major International Championships and the Senior B’s.

For the Majors, the ISU definitely takes into consideration the events they run themselves, and the Olympics. But, there does not seem to be any consistency over how they approach other events that are considered to be Majors.

And as for the Senior B’s, it is particularly confusing as an event may be taken into consideration one year, but not the next. Much of this is due to the changing make-up of the Challenger Series.

So, to make things simpler, the table below takes into consideration all the events that the skater has taken part in. These scores are referred to as “Absolute Personal Best” and “Absolute Season’s Best” so as to distinguish them from the scores recorded by the ISU.

Absolute Personal Best ScoreAbsolute Season’s Best Score

The Absolute designations are based purely on the contents of the Competitive History table in this post. If anybody knows of any scores that are not in the table, please let me know, and I will be only too happy to add them in.

As always when comparing scores, it should be kept in mind that you are not comparing like for like. There is a subjective aspect to judging, and every competition has different judges.

At the moment Sasha & Dima don't have a 2nd event yet but obviously they will replace Poluianova/Selkin at the 7th event. They will have a great opportunity to make it to the JGP final but the 7th event will be really tough because Mishina/Mirzoev, Duskova/Didar, Oganesian/Bardei and Ustimkina/Volodin will be all skating there. Or atleast they are all assigned there at the moment.

I really would prefer that Russian Fed would move Mishina/Mirzoev to the 6th event because that would increase the chances that Boikova/Kozlovskii and Ustimkina/Volodin would make it to the final.

They can achieve this within 10 months really because both (in the past at least) can jump up to 3Lz (and in combo). Dima also has the perfect physique for a male pairs skater.

I like them, right now.. they look like awkward single skaters which they were...
but they have a future, they have triple jumps already and he looks really good with his long lines.

Kozlovskii reminds me of an actor, uhfortunately I forgot the name. :frown:

wooo, they made the JGPF

but I still cant find that Kozlovskii look alike, I think the actor was either in Game of Thrones or Hunger Games.

Good job on the bronze! They have amazing potential, such as SBS 3lo and the throw flip. Speaking of the throw flip, why don't they do it in the LP? Doing a flip instead of a sal (which she fell on) might give them a couple extra points. But, I can understand why they got rid of the SBS loop, because their SBS jumps today were, frankly, very scary. The only thing they really have to do from now on is get rid of the bugs in their system that plagued the SP, and then practice like mad on the SBS jumps. They also need to practice their throws because when she lands them they are so gorgeous, almost like Borisova's, and they get strong positive GOE. With everything else the same, they can be among the top Russian junior pairs come junior nationals. Hope we get to see them at JW!

This was an excellent result for them. They weren't the favorites for a medal going in but they skated the best LP they've produced all season. Their SBS jumps and the 3Lo Th were fantastic. They need to work on their basics & consistency to reach higher levels, but as they are newish to pairs & each other, I expect that will come with time.

I really love Boikova's extension.
