I'm so nervous for McNamara/Carpenter. I mean they still have quite a lead after the SD, but still, I'm a bit nervous. Hopefully they pull it all out in the FD.

Sarah Marine ROUFFANCHE / Geoffrey BRISSAUD's routine is quite different from A/P's Beethoven's Last Night. The finish was awkwardly ended.

Natacha LAGOUGE / Corentin RAHIER are my favorites among the French junior ice dancers.

Sofia POLISHCHUK / Alexander VAKHNOV's FS to Romeo & Juliet was lovely to watch. Except the crazily fast and wild twizzles, their delicate presentation was just beautiful. I hope they earn silver.

Anastasia SKOPTCOVA / Kirill ALESHIN/s costumes are beautiful (little bit reminding of P/C's FD dress last season though). But their footworks and movements were pretty wild.

Underwhelmed by M/C. Her posture is quite bad. Suprised nowhere really mentions it...

IMO P/V should win FD. Doubt it will happen though

I must say that McNamara/Carpenter didn't impress me. Apart from the twizzles mistakes (which can happen to anyone, given the difficulty of the element), none of the other elements looked effortless, and the whole program gave me a feeling of strain and labour, it didn't seem to "flow" at all, nor did it actually "reach" anything. To be fair, there were some cool touches here and there, and the last step sequence looked really promising, but at this point I'm afraid the overall result doesn't convince me a lot :eek:hwell:

Never liked McNamara/Carpenter, but this season they are beyond disappointing :slink: It's like they regressed

And I honestly can't believe how much Polishuk/Vakhnov improved since their first jGP event.
