Offtopic: time clock changes

We are changing to winter time clock in Spain this saturday/sunday night and, I realized, in many other places, but in Canada it will be in a few days, so it can cause confusion about starting times of competitions. You can check it in the link below:

Yeah, Europe's usually a week ahead of north America with winter time / Daylight Savings.

It is pretty confusing, when in fact *right during one of the competitions* (men's FS, I think) the clock goes back an hour (from 3 to 2 am in most of western Europe).
