I was glad to see her during the award show even if they didn’t let her win.
But of course the pinprick had to come from Alyona's side again that FS is more than just jumping. Well, Sasha will have gotten used to it by now. :)

I don‘t think that was meant against Sasha, though. Aliona‘s said many times before that she wants the audience to feel the story, wants her skating to be elegant, beautiful etc. Sasha‘s always been more focused on jumping and breaking records - though she seems to have the goal to improve her artistic side as well. They‘re just different people who appreciate different things in the sport. From what I‘ve seen, Sasha and Aliona have always treated each other with respect. I don‘t think there‘s any need to pit them against each other or try to twist their words like this.

Well, I'm just saying how I understood it. I don't find it reprehensible either, and I deliberately only spoke of pinpricks, which are more like a tease than an attack and are far from disrespectful. Because we are not in Alyona FF, such a harmless remark should be allowed.
Perhaps my feeling has to do with an older thing. It was not the first time that I had to think of the term "pinpricks". If I remember correctly, it was after the GPF (but I'm not sure). At the time, Alyona revealed in an interview, that after skating Eteri whispered a compliment in her ear, that she never thought was possible and that made her overjoyed. But she didn't want to reveal exactly what it was.
At the time, I found this statement extremely remarkable and secretly thought "Oh la la, Anna and Sasha will certainly ask the same questions as the reporter and I, namely, what praise triggered exactly this delight!"
As I said, this is not a bad thing and maybe you need the right antennas to notice something like that. ;)

Plushenko summed up the results of Sasha's work in Kislovodsk. https://tass.ru/sport/8990763

Key points:
- Trusova restored all quad jumps(as well as triple axel) and learned quad loop.
- Both programs are ready. They will be completely different and these are new images for Sasha. Choreographer is Sergei Rozanov.
- He said that the programs are not "run and jump" type, but with a lot of transitions and male steps(IDK what he meant)
- They are currently working on costumes and negotiating with designers.

"Male steps"...
Actually he said Sasha's SS and TR will be as complex as of the current men skating.

Did they accomplish it after a couple of weeks only? Fewh! Sasha is fit for the Mars Manned Expedition.
For me his bravery looks like a list of pre-elections promises. Either Plushenko decided to run for a seat or to impress someone. Or to slightly "scratch" the TTfP.

P.S. He was little sorry the Quaxel is out of the list. We too, yeah?

The only thing that I believe to Plushenko is: Sasha feels great.
If she is happy means she has recovered her self confidence and can jump whatever amount of quads in order to beat Alëna.

I don't remember the name of the woman who designed Sasha's dresses before changing to Olga Ryabenko, personally I think she had better taste.

I'm not sure but think these ones were designed by that woman

Sigh..don't start this here. This is Sasha's fan thread. We all believe Sasha is in incredible good shape and she can do those elements. Do you think Plush didn't say the truth and he can hide it from the other pupils, coaches, parents and Trusova herself??? Do you think Sasha likes it if anybody says untruthes about her preparation? Jesus! Are you thinking sometimes? This is so ridiculous and so Russian!

That designer is Olga Ryabova. Maybe you don't know Plushenko has great relationship with Valentine Yudashkin. He is an internationally great designer he created costume for Plushenko and he flied to watch Plushy in 2014 to Sochi. This https://www.instagram.com/p/ro3aTdmy_j/

Plus he is an also really famous and talented designer Igor Gulyayev who created the Plushenko's Snow Kings's show amazing costumes...

That is good if Sasha will have costumes in different style as Ryabenko. I like them but she makes too many costumes and those are very similar

As I see it Sasha doesn't need a costume.

Let her go with that sports suit (Arena it was?) from her tests.

Yeah, I would like to see that, too! She is so sporty! But "the figure skating is not just sport but ballet, theater, musical" ;)

I hate to agree with you. But I have no other option here.
However, you have to be realistic and realize that 99% of figure skating fans (and surely also the judge) love glittering dresses, lip gloss and eyeliner.
Be it as it may. In the end, the outfit is secondary. At least it should be.

Yes. Plushenko Bashing doesn't belong here. Strictly speaking, it has no place in the Russian Ladies Thread either. I wish someone would open a separate thread for this trend topic so that the possessed can let off steam there.

Ryabenko once said that she loves Sasha the most and she always made dresses for her (and for Tina too). I don't know if the decision to change designer is right, but if Sasha decided to completely change her life, then it looks like a logical decision.

My favorite dresses from Ryabenko is probably "4 seasons" (17-18) and a dress for this year's short program https://www.instagram.com/p/B48EWhJI15T/ (I consider this masterpiece as the most underrated dress of the season.)

On the one hand, you may be right. On the other hand, the frayed looks a bit like "donating clothes". Unfortunately, the fact that it fits the topic does not make up for it. I also think that a dress that consists exclusively of white / gray / black tones looks unfavorable on the white ice. If colorless, then as radical as the ex-gala costume for unstoppable.

When I looked at these photos, the thought crossed my mind that Sasha with her quads and cantilever not only revolutionized ladies figure skating, but also contributed to equality. I seriously believe that today she is also an idol for many skating boys who would like to be like her. I find that remarkable and very enjoyable. :agree:
