Alexandra "Sasha" Vyacheslavovna Trusova (Russian: Алекса́ндра Вячесла́вовна Тру́сова) is a Ladies singles’ figure skater who represents Russia. She was born on 23 June 2004 in Ryazan, Ryazan Oblast, Russia. She is the 2022 Olympic silver medalist, the 2021 World Bronze Medalist, the 2020 and 2022 European Bronze Medalist, the 2019-20 Grand Prix Final bronze medalist, the 2019 and 2022 Russian National silver medalist, and the 2020 and 2021 Russian National bronze medalist.

On the junior level, she is the 2018 Junior World champion, the 2017 Junior Grand Prix Final champion, the 2018 Junior Grand Prix Final silver medalist, and a two-time Russian junior national champion (2018, 2019).

Alexandra is the first Ladies’ skater to land the quadruple toe loop jump, to land a quad lutz jump and to land a quad in combination (quad toe loop + triple toe loop).

Alexandra announced, following the 2019-20 season, that she would be coached by Evgeni Plushenko and Sergei Rozanov. At the end of the 2019-20 season she returned to her previous coaches Eteri Tutberidze and Sergei Dudakov.

Those sky high single jumps of hers had my jaw dropping when I first saw them. With Eteri she will gain the consistency she has been lacking and refine where her skills are weakest to build her into an incredible skater.

Sasha did very well in her SP at the 5th stage of Russian cup. No video yet but she scored 63.66 points and her TES was above 38 points. Hopefully we will have the video soon, although for some reason TheFSRussia -channel has been extremely slow to upload any video. They haven't uploaded anything since early yesterday.

Based on score Sasha did great today, she scored her PB which is now 186.24 points. She didn't win though, Daria scored about 1.5 points more. No video yet.
