I am very disappointed that there is no triple axel battle with aljona and bruno.

When D/R go totally clean they can reach 80 points but espacially T/M have their chance in the SP. I will support Yu/Zhang.

I hope everyone makes clean performance, so that we'll see skaters' full potential back to back! :hap10:

second to this. I think that if Meagan and Eric will go clean or relatively clean in both programs, they will win, but with the rest - I think that every other team has a chance of silver or bronze depending of how much their programs will be clean and well-performed.

Still sad that Aliona and Bruno won't be there, same for Sui/Han, James/Cipres and Kavaguti/Smirnov

Not as exciting as last season, but I'm really curious, aside of D/R, how other teams stand against each other. The level of these teams is pretty similiar, I think the place will depend a lot on execution. Also, Seguin/Bilodeau has gone back to their previous SP, we'll see how it goes tomorrow :hap10:

Have Tarasova/Morozov learned how to do a reverse lasso lift? Because they sure in the heck didn't do one in the SP of both of their GP events.

Dorispulaski, it's been confirmed that David Wilson choreographed Peng/Jin's LP while Lori Nochol did their SP.

I think that Senior Pairs has been a bit disappointing this season. Lots of error strewn, sloppy performances.

Even if messy (and they probably will be) this is D/R's to lose. There base value will be sky high as they are pushing things technically but what gets me down is the sky PCS, they have improved in that area for definite but for me are not 9+levels. Not so sure for the rest of the podium.

The Chinese have impressed me this season and now have two very strong teams and definitely could be on the podium. T/M have a very good SP and a potentially good LP but it looks unfinished to me. I wonder will they go for the quad twist, they have a very impressive 3Tw but the quad had caused them difficulties. S/B could also be a factor, especially that they have gone back to their vastly superior SP from last year. They were impressive in SA but were sub par in Russia. Z/E have done well to make the final, they have impressed me this season and have pushed on from last year but I think they will be 6th.

Finger crossed for Y/Z and P/J! I wish them both do well!

The absence of some of the top Pairs makes such an opportunity for these brand new Pairs to get valuable competition experiences and encouraging results! And their progress is already so incredible.

Very sad about the absence of Sui/Han :sad21:

Hope the ice is better for everyone, especially rooting for Yu/Zhang and Peng/Jin :hap85:

First we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin..

Must walk dog and have lunch and apparently clean my house. (and change my avatar because I'm under official orders)

No crashy twists, no aborted lifts and perfectly synchronized spins for everyone! (SBS jumps are always a crap shoot in pairs)

*rooting for Julianne and Charlie most of all but really just for everyone to do well*
