The Novice Dance competitors will compete in the pattern dances at 5:35 p.m., Central Standard Time, on Tuesday, Jan. 17. They will then compete in the free dance at 9:00 a.m., Central Standard Time, on Wednesday, Jan. 18.

I noticed there that Elder/Elder are 2016 U.S. Novice Bronze Medalists.

This is definitely going to be a tight race. Five teams all within 3 points of each other at sectionals!

Ooh, thanks icemusings! I didn't follow regionals/sectionals so I'll definitely be reading your preview before Monday. I was blown away by Tkachenko/Kiliakov in intermediate last year. Excited to see how they do against some bigger competitors.

They had some level issues but I just adore the WISA teams. I moved away from DC a few years ago and getting to go watch WISA exhibitions a few times a year is one of the things I miss most!

I'm interested to see how Tkachenko/Kiliakov due as the babies of the event.

Also, congrats to DelCamp/Gart for moving up to silver, Elder/Elder for claiming bronze, and Tkachenko/Kiliakov for getting pewter!

Sounds like the depth in Ice Dance continues. Congrats to all the medalists!
