Some people in an attempt to get it correct have the prounounce it "Wynn." But that "Ng" sound is hard, even for me.

Ok. I like a challenge. I'm going to make my friend teach me how to say her name properly.

I'm so proud of Kaitlyn for putting out two great skates! I can totally see her topping 180 internationally next year! Too bad about Starr's mistakes. But she shows a lot of promise. She normally fixes her problem jumps over the off season, so I look forward to see her next season! Big jumps from Ashley! Just needs more polish. So much artistic quality from Emma. I hope she can fix those jumps because she is so wonderful to watch!

Great job ladies!

How old is Ma? She seems to be older then many of the girls there.

Emmy JUST turned 16 yesterday. 1/19/01 is her birthday.

Madalyn Moree (12/2000), Haley Beavers (12/1999), and Brynne McIsaac (9/1999) are older.

I love how excited the girls are...really it's redemption for all of them! Kaitlyn had to WD last year, Ashley moved up a spot from her placement in Novice and Starr was OTP in Novice and I believe Emmy Ma was not at Nationals last year either.

It really is! Hard work pays off!

In fact, Kaitlyn had a cinderella season! Back in April she didn't even have a coach! She just got her coaches really late in the off season. She'd done an amazing job this season for someone that started so late!

According to Sylvia's Unseen Skaters site, this is Emmy's first Nationals at a level Novice or above

I don't. Maybe someone is in the Skating Club Boston here that knows?

I will get my spies right to work on it. Someone I trust said it was really effecting her content. She of course deserves extra points for using POTO. LOL!

Starr was looking disappointed in the medal ceremony. I think she's taking this loss a little hard. If I'm doing the math right, if she had landed her Flip and Loop and avoided an edge call she could've won. I hope she digs deep, trains hard, and comes back strong for next season. With a second place finish she's earned a good slot on the JGP.

And also, she reached a key goal too...IIRC, she was determined to get on the podium after being off it at Novice. And having two 3-3 combinations is pretty awesome.

She'll definitely need to work on her flip and lutz for JGP since I think the lutz is likely going to be the required jump for juniors next year.

The Lutz unfortunately is the required jump. She really needs to not only work on her edge but prep a 3lo+3T or 3F+3T of her short program. Hopefully she'll have it consistent by next season.

I fact all these ladies need to hard to boost their scores. Even Kaitlyn's score would be off the podium in many JGP.

She could still do her 3T-3T or 3S-3T couldn't she? Probably from a strategy point better to just do a combo she's mastered so she doesn't have to try to juggle a new combo and a newish jump.

Both those combos I think would score well.

I wasn't able to watch the juniors free this morning. So I don't know the results yet. But I don't see the video up on Ice network. What happened?
