Conrad had a very strong Long program at Junior worlds. He landed his quad. He only popped his 3A but kept the combo alive by tagging the 3toe on the popped jump, and instead of doing 2a-1/2loop-3s, he went for a 3a-1/2-2s (he ran out of speed to tag on a 3s)... i thought he was very fierce and courageous to try again the 3A.

I am very happy and excited for him. I think he showed great poise and control. That was by far, the biggest event he ever competed at and he did very well. Judges will get to reward him for his PCS. He does need a bit more polished but he is a great talent.

Also : totally shallow but I love the green top he is wearing. A very nice costume.

I wish him some rest and great choreography and programs during the off season... Please do not mess with your technique while you go to BC if you do....

Not sure it's Conrad on the third pic though... but it could be the angle of the photo.

both Conrad and Roman are listed at 180cm but it's true Conrad looks taller here... Maybe because Roman is bending a bit forward since the lovely lady his hugging him ? What is interesting about Conrad's height though is that he said in interview that it has helped him with his jumps... rather than the opposite which is more common when skaters have their growth spurt.

The third picture is a photo album, scroll through it and you see a picture of Conrad flanked by 2 fangirls. The guy in the first picture isn't Conrad though does kinda look like him.

ISU bios are updated at the beginning of the season so my guess is Conrad was the same height as Roman then and has grown a few centimeters since. He doesn't turn 17 until July so it's very possible he's still growing. As for it helping his jumps it's certainly possible though not really common. It seems for guys and girls filling out is a bigger issue than simply getting taller, but Conrad's lanky bodytype may spare him from this.

The girls in Taiwan seem to really love him. "Handsome level off the chart" lol. You chose a good son 4everchan!

i chose him because of his green shirt and his explosive jumps.... i thought he was fabulous at nationals... then went to post on his fan fest and he was an orphan.... i fixed that :) it sort of compensates for not being Patrick's daddy LOL...

I wish Conrad a brilliant and long career. He is promising.. I like his fight and attitude as well... And I agree with you, he could grow a couple more cms. but I think most of his growing his behind him and shouldn't affect him anymore.

silverlake, all the pics you've shared are of Conrad EXCEPT for this one. If you look closely, the eyebrows, the eyes, nose and lips don't match at all, not to mention that dude is missing Conrad's beauty spot. Just so you don't potentially confuse newbies to Conrad's fandom, perhaps you should edit your post and remove this link.

I edited it :D. Also CBC broadcast team seemed to really like Conrad on their show yesterday! Good luck next season boy!

Just saw Conrad and Roman interviewed by Kurt during the gala of Worlds aired on CBC .

For those wondering : Roman looks a bit taller but it could because of the angle....

This is what urged me to post : Conrad was asked about quads and so on... style and substance like Patrick discussed... or quality vs quaddity like i expressed it myself a few months ago after Finlandia.

Conrad said that he hopes that there is a balance, that even Nathan Chen himself mentioned that at 5 quads the program could suffer.

So I am very proud of this boy, who knows he has to improve his own PCS that he is seeing the bigger picture of figure skating. I hope he keeps developing and I cannot wait to see his new programs!

Apparently, Conrad has set his goals to go back to Junior Worlds next year and do better.

So happy to see 4everchan's son on TV. He is so cute. In my mind Conrad and Roman are still little babies but Kurt looks like a munchkin next to them now!

The YRSA ice show took place 2 days ago, and Conrad appears in this fancam of the boys-only number, but because the video is small, I have a very difficult time differentiating one skater from another. The password is yrsa: [Dead link]

I just updated (thanks mango!!!!) the OP again. Wow.. being a parent is a lot of work... I cannot imagine how much work mango and I will be doing when Conrad grows up and does full seasons!!! How exciting though!!!!!
