Wow......He won't need that harness very much longer. What a beautiful straight body in the air and a strong back on the landing.:cheer2:

Thank goodness those babies are young......I can feel that "Curb Jump" exercise in my quads all the way from California.

Once again....This series of clips has been like a breath of fresh air and I love every single one of them.....:thank::cheer2::bow:

That dance teacher is like the lighter version of me...:laugh2: I used to have overalls in every color and I'd tie random bandana's all over them.....It was very cool in the 80's. ;)

LRK, these clips give me life and I know I say it everyday but, I don't take for granted the time you take to post them for us here in the US. :bow::cheer2::thank:

It takes hardly any time at all, mrrice - also, as I'm watching them myself, why shouldn't I?;) I'd miss out on your comments, for one, and that loss would be mine! So much more fun for us to share these together, than just watch by ourselves... so to speak.:)

Does it get any cuter than that????? I reeeeally wish I'd spent enough time in Russia to be able to understand what their teacher is saying. I can tell by the "Tone" but, I almost wish these were subtitled......LRK, you are my hero for posting these clips and I will never get tired of them.

When I watch him during the "Swans" clip it reminds me of my teacher. She used to say....."Quintin....You have to move like the waves in the ocean........Like the water...it's always moving"...I just love watching Plushy with his students and he rightly deserves the respect they have for him.......:bow::dance2::thank:

How cute are those little skaters....:drama: Watching Plushy run across the ice in his toe picks is PRICELESS!!! I loved him the first time I saw him in 1999 and almost 20 years later, I feel like I'm seeing him for the first time, all over again. As a great coach and leader of what I hope will become the best academy in Russia. LRK, you're simply the best.........Thank you so much.....:cheer2::dance2::bow:

Really? Who is he? Anyway, I truly enjoy seeing Plushy with his students. His posture and carriage are still as beautiful as ever and he just has something that very few skaters have. "To me" He's like Patrick Chan. They can both stop traffic without ever doing a single jump. Legendary skaters who will be in the history books forever.

We are happy to invite you in our summer camp in Moscow with Olympic champion Evgeni Plushenko - 2-time Olympic champion, 2-time Silver Olympic medalist and the only one owner of 4 Olympic awards since 1932! Trainings in our camp are possible during one week or two weeks. Dates of summer camp:

20th of June - 27th of June
18th of July - 25th of July
18th of July - 1st of August

7th of August - 14th of August
7th of August - 21st of August

In a week (6 days) there will be: 12 trainings on ice, 2 trainings in a gym and 2 classes of choreography.

It may be just a good PR influencing me, but watching these videos I'm starting to believe this Plushenko-coach thing might be for real.
At first I was thinking he'd had given his name, advertised others like Sotnikova and flied to Seychelles, leaving everything in his employees hands, but seeing his own kid and himself training is encouraging. Looks like he really wants it.

Why did you think so? Plushenko said not once: "I can't live without ice" "The ice is my life" This is the most important! ( He received criticism for it many times from the "nice" Yagudin)
In the Seychelles there is ice very rarely :laugh: (And because he can't live without sports in general and there is no ice there he organized the "Seychelles National Team" :laugh: and played football matches with the local guys :biggrin: )

He started the skating at his 4. His international competitive career begun in 1996. He was with Mishin when Mishin built his method sometimes the kid Zhenya was on the ice for 8 hours! He showed the exercises on seminars. He knows everything about Mishin method.
He helped Mishin in Mishin Camps. For example Tuktamysheva said about him: good explanation, and humour. Plus he got his coaching degree in 2003 or 2004 in St. Peterburg University.. Plushy held many master classes he showed how much enjoyes those hours, he had a lot of patience for the pupils. He adores the children and the children adore him. There are many cute vidos on Youtube.

I don't say he is a choreographer, but his name was among the Nutcracker show's choreographers. If you are watching the anglesofplushenko's videos notice he makes choreo for the pupils.
He skates his exhibition programs differently, he changes the choreo from show to show many times.

He knows the political games of figure skating in the background, thus I really believes he knows everything about the figure skating.

And you don't forget his personality. If he does something he takes it seriously. He wants to be the best always! He wants to be the best coach! If the Academy was named after him then the Academy must be the best!

We need to wait and see...what will happen.

Of all the things I remember about seeing Evgeni at Worlds in 2001 were his eyes. I was touring for Coca Cola at the time and I was sitting right behind the Judges. During his Bolero SP Plushy looked right into the faces of the judges and I remember thinking that I was looking at the best skater in the World. Myself and several other fans ran to watch him walk to back to the locker room. He waved to all of us and gave us high 5's. He was gracious and humble and made me a fan for life.

Fellow Russian Maria Butyrskaya was the same way. So good to their fans and we really appreciated the way they treated us. I look forward to the upcoming performances by the students and as always, Thank you, Thank you, and Thank you!!
