Despite the fact that she was only 13th at the Russian Junior Championships she still have a decent chance to make it to the Russian JGP team next season but she needs to do well at the Nationals Elder Age. It will not be easy for her to medal there but if she does then she might very well make her JGP debut next season. As expected Nationals Elder Age will be a very high quality event because Panenkova, Trusova, Gulyakova, Tarakanova, Samodurova and Lozko will be there also. Fedichkina too might be there but I am not sure about that. Kurakova didn't take part to the Moscow qualification event but as we have seen in the past her name might still appear on the entry list. In theory Shcherbakova's name might also appear on the entry list but I kind of doubt that Russian Fed would add her here.

She seems to have very up and down results. Quite a few of them in 170s, which is not a great result for a Junior lady in Russia, but then again some great results. At the last competition (Moscow perevenstvo) she managed to beat Trusova and Tarakanova, who are among the strongest in her age group, and at the Russian cup final she placed second and beat Trusova, Tarakanova, Kurakova, Guliakova, Samodurova, Lozko, Sherbakova, Nugumanova and Tarusina. That shows that she can beat the others, but she needs to be more consistent. The problem is that there is far too many of great ones, so placing consistently will be very important.

Medal seems unlikely now since she had a big error today.

According to this table Vika will get JGP stage in Croatia! She definitely deserves to compete there. Looking forward to see how she'll manage it. :)

Not sure. A 3Lo isn't worth 9 points more than a 1Lo.
But definitely the SP I think.

But definitely the SP I think.

But that's the point. If she definitely wins SP, then and overall. Because she won FP. Here's a protocol.

And yes, 3F+3Lo in the second half of the program, she lost almost 7-8 points. She got for her broken combo: 3F+1Lo* * 5.83 x -1.63 -3 -1 -1 -3 -3 - 4.20. I don't remember how much costs 3F+3Lo in the second half, + potential GOE. But I guess it should be about ~12 points.

Also, they gave her low PCS in the SP, but the highest PCS in the FP.

Shcherbakova:
SP: 63.33 (37.53+25.80)
FP: 120.25 (64.46+56.79)

Kanysheva:
SP: 63.12 (38.52+24.60)
FP: 126.49 (68.22+58.27)

Vasilieva:
SP: 53.46 (30.46+23.00)
FP: 126.73 (68.19+58.54)
