Thank you very much. They're so enjoying it.

BTW I am sorry for being off topic. I just want to ask, since my friends and I intend to go to GPF in Vancouver this year, but she said the all-event tickets left are quite bad. So we are asking if there will be some release for individual tickets? Or GPF Vancouver will only release all-event?

Thank you so much in advance.

I got the GPF all event package, and I agree the seats left were bad. However, I do not think its likely there are any good individual tickets, since they have already added additional seating (bleachers), that is also already available on the map. This contrasts to when I got seats for Nationals, when they open up additional seats in the bleachers about 1 month before the event. I think there will be individual seats (assuming all-event does not sell out) but don't expect a lot of good seats.

Brace yourself, it's going to be a really tough year for the pairs next year as we will only have one spot for next year...

I bought my tickets to Nationals on the second day of pre-sales (had browser problems on the first day and couldn't find any tickets). I bought my tickets to GPF a month and a half after they went on sale. The tickets are about one section and 4 rows apart! I could have been closer to my old seats, but last time I bought the worst tickets for a higher price: this time I decided to save myself $100 by moving to a lower price range.

The Doug Mitchell arena isn't that big. I couldn't wait for individual tickets to go on sale because my companion needs to make travel plans.

I bought my tickets on Nationals the day before the short program, at the arena. They put me in two different seats on Friday for the first half and the second half, and I did not like moving between the event. However, I learned my lesson so I bought early this time for grand prix final. At this point, I don't think the rest of the tickets will sell out anytime soon, until we get information about who is assigned where, and who will be seeded, so we can predict who might make the finals.

There seem to be 226 seats left for the Grand Prix Final. They have sold some in the couple of weeks, because I could have been in section 112 or 113, and those tickets are now gone.

They're all-events? So they will not release individuals at all?
Thank you for your comment.

They're all-events. They may have reserved some seats for individual sales, but we won't know about those for months. They don't show up yet on the ticket website.

I should have said "there are 226 all-event tickets left".

I had a very busy day today, so I didn't get the chance to watch any performances yet, but I'm soooooooooooo HAPPY that Kaetlyn is the 2018 world champion, the first Canadian woman's singles skaters to win this competition in 45 years!!!!!!! :hap36: :yahoo: :yes2: :dance3:

Our Canadian skaters continue to give their best, even when the Olympics are done. That's the way to go.

Next season that 3rd ladies spot will be up for grabs again. Larkyn's TES minimums are expiring but Alaine and Alicia Pineault will still have their minimums.

TES minimums? Uh, what's that? I dunno.

Of course you know Kaetlyn or Gabby could retire at any point. As to whom... I'm not throwing shade Gabby's way too much when I say this, but there's been a clear decline in Gabby Daleman's skating since Vancouver 2018. Makes me worried.

you have to meet a minimum technical score (your non pcs score) to go to certain events. It is highest for Worlds and lower for 4CC and Olympics. Sometimes that is why you will see teams at Europeans or 4CC but not at worlds even though their countries could send them. They don't have the min. tech score for both the short and long programs.

I believe Gabby in injured. Hence the decline you've noticed.

1) Thanks ancientpeas.

2) If true ancientpeas, hope Gabby takes some genuine time to recuperate. All my best to Kaetlyn's greatest, classiest rival.
