I'm so sorry for Alina. She seemed tired but still hit the jumps in warm up. I actually feel that the first half of the program was one of the best this season, she skated very well to the music. She peaked at Europeans and remained in good condition through Olympics. It's evident that competing together with Evgenia is easier for her. I wonder what would have happened if Evgenia would have competed...

Two uncalled UR in Masha's FS:

Her URs are particularly bad in WC. It used to be just the 3Lz and 2A that were prone to UR. This has to be fixed before next season or else she would lose her position as Russian #3
Masha... it's 2nd season in a row when her shape on the first half of the season is much better than after RN.....
but still.... if RusFed hasn't totally abounded girls here.... We could see the different resoult..

I don't even want to discuss... 6 uncalled UR's of Miyahara.... Who should never have got a medal here... She should thanks, Amano... and buy him something... It's not the first time when someone was robbed of the medal in her favor....

I have been on a trip and just looked the results of ladies: Alina. I had a feeling that she will not do well, but not 7th place. And now next season, Russia only has 2 spots? This is such a disaster.

She placed 7th in the FS but 5th overall. With Maria sitting in 8th place, they both secured 3 spots for next season.
