Did Young manage to actually get rotations? I ask because in the whole season, her jumps have been a UR mess.

Yes she got her rotations. She's better since the last ranking competition, which she won. Even since her last JGP.

Agreed. I guess they really want to push You Young as the next Yuna(Good luck with that) but to me Eunsoo is significantly more enjoyable to watch.

Do we know TES and PCS scores? Because I can actually agree that You could win TES wise. Eunsoo has tendency to lose levels but I'm happy she looks better than when I saw her at JGP. And I'm not even going to comment "next Yuna" because it's ridiculous :palmf: And it isn't because You has no chance to become legend but they are individuals and I hate the whole concept of hailing somebody "next XXX".

Be most enjoyable to watch doesn't mean be the one who skates the best program.

Junhwan suprised me. He really gave everything. Congrats for the olympic spot!
Congrats to Young and Eunsoo for JW spots! But i'm sad for Yelim.

I prefer Yelim's and Eunsoo's jumps over Young's but I really like the later's interpretation and flare on the ice. I feel like her programs really work for her and she's plenty charismatic.

Congratulations to the Korean Nationals podium finishers and the Olympic and JW teams!
Especially happy that Junhwan managed to recover so well from the deficit he had but really sad for Junehyoung too, who did so well until here only to falter at the last moment. But at least the Korean selection process was mathematically objective, which makes it hard to contest it, but still there's the dual feeling of happiness for Junhwan's comebak and the sadness for Junehyoung,

Three-time South Korea national champion and 2014 Olympian Hae Jin KIM retired:

Two-time South Korean national champion Jin Seo KIM is dropping hints on giving up competition. He has been dealing with a painful disk problem this season. If he does give up, then June Hyoung LEE will go to the 2018 Worlds.

The above instagram page is now removed. Let's wait and see.

This thread got so dead  Korean girls did well at 4CC with Dabin slightly leading over Hanul, Dabin is 5th (62.30), Hanul 6th (61.15)! Soyoun doubled 3T of combo and URed 3Lo but still, pretty good from her, she's 12th. Hopefully all three will have good free skates. Also, Min/ Gamelin are 7th (60.11).

Dabin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECYyeVepZJk
Hanul: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKfoSn8Qmz4
Soyoun: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3thSxPKV94Y
Min/ Gamelin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T5O0CH50Cn8

Also, I just saw that Men's team is Sihyeong, June and An Geonhyeong. Is Jinseo injured? And is he the one who's going to World Championships? I'm confused he's picked over June.

Very happy to see Dabin's clean triple triple combination return in time for the SP at 4CCs. And a great solid SP performance from Hanul as well.

I read where Ryom & Kim will be skating for a united Korea team at the Olympics, so they should definitely be mentioned here!

Jinseo has a severe disk problem, so he gave up 4CC. It looks like his original plan was finishing the season at the Korean National. What will happen to the World ticket, we have to wait and see.

Dabin needs more speed and more personality on ice. Both Eunsoo Lim and Young You are already better than her on presentation & performance, and Eunsoo also has better speed. When all of the top three junior ladies turn senior in two years, Dabin's chances at Worlds will be much lower. This is her year to shine.

Agree. She really has to get faster as I think she already has enough grace and is getting better at projecting, but her lack of speed really kills her PCS. Really admire her stability and mental strength though.:) I'm sooo glad her 3-3 is back in time for the Olympics so all that's left now is to enjoy! Yura and Alex are also so precious. Their K&C antics always bring a smile to my face.: Glad to see Junehyeong's Bohemian Rhapsody again and if Jinseo's retirement is true I think we'll see it again at Worlds? Congrats to him for getting all level 4s for steps and spins in both SP and FP! Certainly a huge feat against that tech panel.

Also YY was in Taiwan and in the audience for 4CC! I hope seeing all those high level skaters will have a good influence on her. She mentioned in her Instagram that Jason really impressed her.:)
