I assure you the quality is great, Giu! Thanks for sharing. This thread moves kind of fast so I don't recall if you've mentioned it or not, but did you get to say hello to Kazuki in person? Or has anyone here? From videos, he appears to have a really sweet personality.
I hope Kazuki inspires many young future skaters in his talkshow segment. Which reminds me, the video of Kazuki's little fanboy was too cute ^ ^

Kazuki is a busy guy! Love the new style Mizuno jersey he's wearing. I think I've seen it on someone else too before.

Yes! I'm so glad the Autumn Challenge Sports event wasn't cancelled, it seems it was a lovely event and Kazuki had a lot of fun!
He was all on brand wearing his Mizuno/Central Sports clothes

Here are pics/videos of the event, in no particular order. Sorry, it's a lot! You can see the talk show, also the 'sports experience' which it seems it was Kazuki trying different sports for fun! I was really impressed by his basketball skills, he was so good doing it, when did he have time to practice this? :eeking:

Thanks a lot, Giu!! :thank: They are so lovely!

Also, Kazuki's eating ramen again with Ohayo Call ABC TV show! https://www.instagram.com/p/B2qA7X2HNYG/
Broadcast is scheduled for the 27th! They seem to be calling his appearance 'Baka noodle fool corner' - I wonder if they do this to other people, or they created a ramen-themed segment just for him... :laugh2:
I really love the pictures (as you can see from my new avatar ;))! He looks so happy and that ramen looks amazing! Apparently, it's an Italian-inspired recipe.
It's a Kansai local show and I can't watch it :(
That said, This "Men-Baka (Noodle freak/maniac)" corner has a website and the previous ones are all uploaded there.
https://www.asahi.co.jp/call/menbaka/
I've checked some of them (43 in total), but there were only a few segments that had guests (an American ramen lover, another local newscaster, and ramen magazine editor). Anyways, Taichi Yokoyama, the main caster, wears this black T-shirt (Tomono-kun got a yellow one for this!), visits ramen shops and eats a bowl or two, praise it and compares it to something else as his review (as a joke). I wonder how he's gonna do it with Tomono-kun!

Thank you, KiraraChin! I can never gather that many on my own, I'm impressed! There are a few I saw that talked about the talk show.
https://twitter.com/omotinoberu/status/1175628438712905728
The MC lady picked on him for his too-small face (not trying to be mean, but to praise and tease him), Moriwaki (Kansai local comedian and marathon runner) asked him if he's having a strict diet (to keep in shape), and he answered that he's been told to eat more (maybe by Central's gym trainer?), and he's interested in gymnastics for Tokyo Olympics as it's somewhat similar to figure skating.

The best thing about sports: it's so much fun to move your body. When competing, there are a lot that you feel 'kuyashii', but you can grow/improve yourself by that too, so it's good. To continue a sport, it's important to 'enjoy' it. I always want to keep that in mind.
About Olympics: I want to cheer for 2020 Tokyo Olympic with all my might. And then, the Winter Olympics follows, that we're aiming for. It's a huge goal to be one of the representatives (Olympian) but by dealing with/working on one by one at hand, I believe I can get results and so I want to continue 'gambaru'.

Ohhh, thanks for the clarification! I'm upset it took them 43 episodes to finally invite Kazuki, but pleased that when they finally did, they got Kazuki a shirt and everything
I really hope someone uploads a video of this. Last year they went to a ramen shop with Kazuki too, but it was mostly a serious interview. Will it be more on the comedy side this year? I'm very curious!

Thank you so much for the translations! Poor Kazuki, always getting picked on :laugh2:
His answers, as usual, are very down to Earth and well thought out! Overall, he seemed really happy and relaxed at the event :luv17:

Thank you all for the updates :luv17:

All pictures and videos are so cute, really love his smile

Really happy that our boy got to relax and enjoy some fun time these days, this could help him mentally after Lombardia. Also it makes me think he is fine and injury free

Can't wait to see his segment on ABC TV :)

I'm a bit upset now to find out that I may not be able to watch Skate America at all :furious:
Asahi has the license here, but they're broadcasting it in Kanto local, meaning only those in Tokyo or its neighbor prefectures can watch it, and we're most likely getting geo-blocked... aren't we? RAEG!!! :hpull: C'mon, Tomono-kun is from Osaka and Koshiro from Ehime and Okayama, both from Western Japan! this is totally outrageous!!!:gaah:

What, Asahi is not an all-state channel?
I won't even bother looking at the Eurosport schedule if there's any - no point getting irked a month earlier than I normally would. SkAm usually gets the short end of the stick in terms of broadcasts and I am so not paying for their Player.

Kirara, I loved your Kazuki collection on your twitter account. I loved the header picture too.

OMG that's so horrible about Asahi! I'm enraged on your behalf, Tsurara! :angry1:
It's really outrageous that they would restrict the broadcast to Kanto, especially considering both Kazuki and Koshiro are from Western Japan!

As for Eurosport, I read they're not broadcasting the senior GP series in any country. Apparently a Chinese company bought the rights to the GP series, but there's no indication it will be broadcasted anywhere in Europe :slink:

I get really upset by the fact that ISU really promote the JGP series, and makes all the junior competitions easily available, while not doing the same for the senior GP series or at least not making it more easily accessible... SIGH.

Kirara, I loved your Kazuki collection on your twitter account. I loved the header picture too.
Awww thanks :luv17: I must confess my Twitter account is really focused on my two faves

BTW, that reminds me I forgot to share this here earlier, look at these awesome Kazuki pics from Lombardia: http://photos.phantomkabocha.com/FigureSkating/Lombardia2019/KazukiTomono/index.html
I recommend opening the pics on a proper computer or TV screen if you can (as opposed to using a phone), because they are GLORIOUS!
Kazuki's lines are so gorgeous

No, I didn’t. And as far as I know neither other girls that went there also for the free skate did, (last year he met the fans and yes, he was very sweet and kind to everyone)
But, thanks to @kirarachin who encouraged me, I did get to say hello to Hiraike sensei so I’m a super happy fan now

I’m shocked! I always thought that figure skating was one of the most popular sports in Japan and that consequently all major figure skating events were broadcast and available to everyone there

Another good news... looks like it’s going to be hard to watch the GP this year 😒 Beyond that I’m sad because British Eurosport commentary are my favourites

Wow!!! Thanks Kirara for the pics, they’re awesome! And look at his face! He was completely into the character, how could they give him such low marks on the interpretation of the music??!!

I'm also really looking forward to Kazuki's participation on 'Baka noodles ramen corner'!
Ohayo Call ABC tweeted about it today: https://twitter.com/call_ABC/status/1177051992230748160
Those bowls look huge!

Yay, so glad I could help :luv17:

Same, BESP uncles are my favourites, too! They are always so supportive of Kazuki.

I know, right? The drama and the passion

Sooooo cute! He looked shy but really happy, and the food looked absolutely delicious!
I couldn't understand much of what was said (help, tsurara-san! :)), just that there was a lot of 'kawaii!' comments at the end
