Forgot to say I shook his hand when I wished him good luck. He's so cute and that cute little voice of his. This hotel is MASSIVE, so the chance of running into skaters is not too great. Seriously, it has a bowling alley, an 18 theatre movie theatre, huge casino, food court, restaurants. And the arena is at the hotel. It's like a small village. You could stay here a week and never leave the hotel. That may be my one and only sighting, so I'm going to cherish it.

Awww I'm so glad you got to meet him
Did you take a picture with him? Did he understand you well, of did he struggle a bit with the English? Sorry for the questions, I'm just curious! ;)
Also, thanks to your report we now know he arrived in the U.S. safe and sound

Awwww you're so lucky!!!! So you actually knew that you were staying at the same place of the skaters; I'd go crazy just thinking about that, no matter how big is the hotel!

And was he accompanied or he walks around alone like a normal guest?

Now I need to calm down and act like a grown-up, that was my last question :

Lol don't worry I'm feeling the same, Giu! I'm so happy that Arriba got to see him, and at the same time really curious to know more

I cannot keep my eyes open much longer except for maybe a few pairs if I can get the stream to work for me. But I hope to wake in the morning to good news :) Good luck, Kazuki! Make it to the top 6! Fingers crossed!
ETA, thanks for your tireless reports, Kirara!

YASSS! Kazuki did relatively well!
He scored 75.01, 37.83 TES and 37.16 PCS. His landings were messy but he didn't pop or fall, considering it's a new and risky layout + challenging choreo, not bad at all!

The choreography is great, this is a terrific program for him. :)

Well done, Kazuki! See, you can make the top 6 if you keep going like this ^ ^ In the end, I stayed up late enough - due to drowning in geoblock-induced fury and writing a scathing email to our national TV who had the rights but decided to only air the men - to to watch Kazuki's SP live (thank you, Eurovision Sports, you're my lifeline!). He was visibly relieved. Good luck in the free! Now only to smooth up the landings, and he can challenge for medals again :)

Hi everyone, here's Kazuki's SkAm performance for those who missed it: https://youtu.be/EPQCfY85pH8

Here is the protocol: https://twitter.com/Tomono_Infonet/status/1185332254089740294?s=19

Considering he missed the combo and messed up a spin, it wasn't a bad score at all. I'm particularly impressed by the stsq4 + 1.00 GOE: not only he pulls off the challenging choreo, but also you can really see his skating skills, flow and speed are getting so much better. The results of his work with Misha are really starting to show!

Here's his post-skate interview!

Little interview saying he was happy with his skate, although unhappy with his score: https://twitter.com/ohnishi_f/status/1185320094873739264?s=19

Finally, Kazuki was trending on Japanese Twitter!

Good job Kazuki!!!!

New season best and big smiles!!! He showed a huge improvement from a month ago, just need to polish a little more his jumps and then he will shine!!!
Maybe he has some regrets for how the short went but this is definitely a new start!!!
I’m so happy and relieved :)

I'd never heard of him before this weekend, but gosh he was amazing! And his free skate is definitely one of my favorites this season!!!

Hooray for Kazuki! I trusted him in predictions to be in top 6, and it worked! Looking forward to watching his FP.

ETA: watched Kazuki's free now. Lovely speed and steps, and lots of emotion! And better spins than yesterday. Also, big jumps. Congrats! I really liked his program, considering it's Roxanne. ;)
Just... please get rid of the shaven hair, Kazuki, pretty please? Looks like a Han Yan immitation, and so doesn't become Kazuki. Justice for Kazuki's hair!
