You really don't have to apologize since it is really great to read your analysis and thoughts. THANK YOU :thumbsup: And yah, that fall was really hard to watch specially in the fan cam video :(

About Kazuki's nervousness, I personally think it is more about him being still not very confident with the programs and anxious about his jumps since he has been quite struggling with them not about this being a new experience for him. But hopefully as the season go on, things will get better and I actually hope that this competition did make him gain more confidence since he accomplished quite good points there and did deliver quite good performances despite the problem with the jumps.

About Kinki Regionals, thanks to Daisuke much expected come back, Fuji TV ONE decided to air parts of the competition. I hope they include Kazuki's performances as well

The yawning on the train is super relatable :p

Also, not sure if it has been posted, but Kazuki and other skaters (I believe Keiji, Dai Takahashi and others), will be participating in an even to commemorate the renovation of the Osaka Prefectural Seaside Sports Centre on 14 October.

Honestly, at this point I fear the kid my be overdoing it a bit. He'll have four competitions in the space of two months: JNats regionals, then Skate Canada, then JNats sectionals, then Rostelecom! Plus, these extra events! No wonder he's tired... 😥

Yah, without pressure and surely not integrating all the jumps and technical details, he is so much into the music in those "The ICE" videos. Hope he get more relaxed in his future performances.

About the event in December, seems he is going to give some skating lessons there, he is surely getting himself so busy this season!!

Btw, regarding the competition schedule above, I don't think Kazuki's doing Western sectionals due to scheduling conflict with Skate Canada. I may be wrong but i believe I've read as much somewhere.

If there's an arrow in the top righthand corner when you hover, right click on that - you can then open the picture in a new tab and save it. If not, I have found https://downloadgram.com/ to be invaluable when harvesting from instagram (the things we do...)

I really hope so! Sectionals are the weekend after Skate Canada, it would be too much :noshake:

Ahhh Kazuki will be skating again the next weekend! Praying for some videos :pray:

OH, didn't really expect to hear him doing his interview in English!!! So CUTE :luv17: Even with lack of confidence and having to use a translator but his effort to express his feelings using his own words deserve all the praise :thumbsup: I guess he is also taking Misha's advice to work on his English ;)

Haha, in his third competition this season he is again skating first for the short!!! Poor baby :laugh: but despite the obvious frustration at least he is trying to encourage himself to get over it this time with that message he posted on twitter saying he will try to do his best ^^

Congrats Kazuki!

Kazuki struggled with his quads but his choreo really improved.

He said he was disappointed with his performance but really happy to skate after Daisuke Takahashi who is his idol.
