It is reported in Japanese news link below that:

Could you please translate the bit about the Challenge Cup entries? Google isn’t too helpful, but I think it mentions Rika Hongo, and...?
Edit, never mind, saw your post in the other topic, thank you!!!

It is reported in Japanese news link below that:

https://www.daily.co.jp/general/2018/01/16/0010901627.shtml

Kaori Sakamoto, Mai Mihara, Yuna Shraiwa for ladies and Kazuki Tomono, Hiroaki Sato, Sota Yamamoto(!) are assigned to CdP!
If only this competition wasn't right before Worlds in Milan, I would surely go to this.

Great lineup of Japanese competitors!

I don't see Hiroaki's name in that announcement though - was it mentioned somewhere else?

I so wish I could go, if only for these six (five?). I hope they all remain healthy, especially Kaori as the OGs are going to be exhausting, and Sota because of what he's been through.

I got that from another news link. It's reported that Hiroaki is also in for CdP.

I wonder if Kazuki is really competing, with Worlds starting immediately after CdP. But Sota... how I'd love to see him skate those lovely programs of his, but at the moment, I just cannot afford to pay for accomodation in Luxembourg. Frustrating. Very envious of all you guys who can go. Please someone take photos or videos - we already know just how good the Japanese ladies are, but I'm dying to know how Sota is doing. Hope he doesn't overtrain.
