Wow! Thank you for all this information Hailey! We always appreciate you informing us of the Korean competitions.

This seems like a slump year for the Koreans. So many of them are injured and/or have other issues, so I’m cheering for everyone to do well.

On a side note, I also hope that Dabin and Soyoun can set aside their disappointing GP performances and redeem themselves here!

Just posting a wee off-topic note here to let you know that I am going to be including the South Korean Championships in the Nationals Predictions Game this year.

So, when the Entry lists for Nationals come out, could somebody let me know?

Yep. That would be great.

I just thought that since there have been so many good Korean skaters coming through the past few years, and hence so much competition for the Olympic slots, that South Korea deserved to be added to the list.

Thank you so much for your kind offer. I really appreciate it.

:thank:

Thank you so much Hailey Shin for the useful info as always!! :thank:
I'm really looking forward to this competition, can't wait to see Young's progresses with her programs since the last time I saw her @ JGP in Italy:party:
I'm also quite anxious for bb Cha given the importance of this competition and the injuries he's carrying.. hopefully he will be able to skate well without pushing himself too much :sad4:

I wonder how long the strike will last. It’s been on since September...:slink:

So if the event isn’t televised, it’ll be pretty hard to find videos, right?

Yeah, we may find the vids only through fans this time, like high quality fancams will be the best we can expect to see. Anyway, they aren't so bad I think. Actually some of those are really good that even seems like made by 'real' professionals

However it's also true that television broadcasted versions are easy to find at youtube and using finest quality camera with a variety of angles. Wish we could see at least the nationals on tv at January!

I really hope that Dabin and Jun will have a good outing in preparation for Nationals. Obviously I’m more concerned for Jun because of his injuries, but he limits himself to a 1-quad FS which is a safer strategy.
