Good luck to all! May the men skate clean & have their bones, joints, muscles, head, etc. stay intact

We really could use a break from injuries

Checking in from sunny Kuala Lumpur, except it is raining rather heavily. But I managed to drive home before the traffic becomes heavy.

Before that I went to a grocery store that has lots of imported stuff, so that I can munch some snacks while the skaters jump and spin and step. I bought some locally baked sourdough bread and I decided to spend some money on imported French butter, at least I think it is butter since it is written 'beurre' on it. I wonder if it would be different than the ones from Australia.

Than I bought a tub of Double Dark Chocolate ice cream from TILLAMOOK. I wonder where that is from. (googling) Tillamook is in OREGON, wow such as exotic place. That's north of California isn't it. I bet it has pine trees and mountains and lakes and stuff. I bought cones as well and then I scoop the ice cream on top of it and imagine that I bought it from an ice cream place although I assembled it in my kitchen.

How's the weather at your place and what snacks did you buy for today?

It is WARM. Also a bit humid. I have no snacks but I do have UDLs in case everyone dislocates their shoulders again. Also dinner is ready to microwave.

Meanwhile I'm watching Brendan Kerry at Aussie nationals. Come on and skate cleanly!

^^^You have enough food for a LONG competition! :laugh2: I'm jealous! The pairs started at 3:15 am for me, so I just had a Diet Coke for some caffeine :coffee: and some cheese and crackers. Thinking I'll pop some popcorn , but I don't want to jinx the men!

ETA -- Warm? I wish! :) -2C.

Nope never mind. Popped one jump and stepped out of another. He's so inconsistent :palmf: otherwise it was beautiful, and he's going to the Olympics regardless so

Good luck to all the gpf skaters though! I'll be switching to that once the stream goes live. I'm so excited and worried!

Rooting for Adam today! I know his technical content is probably too low to compete with Nathan, Shoma and Misha, but a girl can dream!

It's cold in Chicago, -5C and snowing, I'm having coffee of course. I bought Reese's Pieces king size, plus some fruit smoothies and teriyaki beef jerky [emoji3]

Heavy snowfall, home made waffles, raspberries and coffee on the menu.

Will be interesting to see Jason's GOE in real time :)

You and me both! Realistically I think he'll only get on the podium if the others stuff up (which I don't want! It's so sad when they disappoint themselves) but you never know.

That's right. It is warm weather in Australia now and you celebrate Christmas in the summer. No snowman for Christmas.
