What's with that random starting order?

I can never figure out how they do the draw. Maybe someone can explain.

The Pairs and Ice Dance starting orders for the FS are as scored in the SP, lowest first and highest last. Not sure
why the men are different.

4th to 6th placing in SP is randomly allocated the first 3 positions.

1st to 3rd placing in SP is randomly allocated the last 3 positions.

Having the winner of SP skating early is so anti climax , but I see that happen many times

Nate has to in foot perfect so the judges won't held him down even he skate early than the other two gold medal contenders

I like the fact that Nathan goes a little earlier. It might relieve a little stress

Wait a minute! Has history been created that this is the first FS that Brown is not skating last?

I agree......When I was competing I always wanted to go right before my biggest competition. I was definitely a "Beat That" kind of competitor. Hopefully Nathan will lay it down and let the chips fall where they fall. :cheer2:

According to my Eurosport app they’re airing this an hour later than the competition is scheduled? Why? :-(

ONE will stream the men too.

Gosh, I'm so nervous. My heartbeat is on overdrive when Shoma skates, it's not good for my nerves at all. The days of my Daisuke 'heart attack' performances are back. Argh.

Can Shoma clinch first place after all? I wish him the best of luck. Love his Turandot.

Fingers crossed for Misha to hold on to third. If he would lose it, then I wish only to Sergei, if he skates as well as he did during the series.

Aww thanks Auser although I got that from someone else on the ladies thread - although I don't recall who.

In regards to the event...bring it Sergei! Represent the over 30s like a bosssss!

(I'm also curious to see if Jason has brought back the smurf pants...the change last event seemed to bode ill for him :p)

this, actually despite this 4Lz fall yesterday, I felt much more confidence and sureness in his performance yesterday, he's coming along so nicely and steadily, I applaud that, because I love this young man's charm and smile. And he now looks much more 'polished' due to this boss haircut:cool14:

good luck to everyone! Cheers to all GSers!:cheer:
