 How did this even get made, let alone posted on the Olympic channel?
Some favorites:
- Kurt Browning's quadruple "salchow"
- Timothy Goebel's "double quad sequence"

Ulrich Salchow dominated ice dancing? Pretty impressive as it wasn't even included in the world championships until after he died.

10 Things You Didn't Know About Ice Dance

by the Olympic Channel

1) There are two types of jumps in ice dance.
2) If it's forwards it's called axel and if you make an axel, but, like, backwards, then it's a salchow.
3) There's a strange thing we're going to mention once called a loop but that's a special kind of French pastries. What? You say there's more jumps and that we—? Nah. Man, figure skatings are such critics...
4) Salchow liked Axels. And jumping. That's why every jump has a skaters name (like that one guy called Toe Loop —oh wait, that didn't exist)
5) If there's one rotation then it's a single. If there are two rotations it's a double. If you can't count them it's a quad salchow.
6) Everything can be a quad salchow if you squint hard enough.
7) While we were making this video our sports advisor did a quad-quad combination.
8) If it's not a quad salchow it may be a triple axel. Or was it a quad axel? Nah. Squint. Quad salchow.
9) There are no underrotations, just ice dance fans being too critic.
10) Look! Another salchow! (Points at toe loop)

Thanks Olympic Channel! I, too, enjoyed the skating of Ulrich Salchow, champion of ice dance singles. So nice to see they did such in depth research for this video
