Starr is so lovely to watch. Her senior debut at Nationals gave a good impression to a lot of people.
I'm glad that she is assigned to 4CC as the result. Hope she does well at there. :hap10:

Anxious to see how Starr does at 4CC. This is the first time I have seen her live, and I was impressed. I know she will improve on her artistry, lines, etc. as she gains experience. I hope she enjoyed skating her senior debut as much as we enjoyed watching it. Very fun!

I was impressed by her at the nationals. She skated clean and I liked she choose actually age appropriate programs... it showed that it was "her". sometimes when the young girls try to do big dramatic uberartsy programs, it gets... melodramatic and there's lots of dramatic faces... so it was refreshing to see Starr just be so natural....

Also... she does sing well (she did the vocals to her long).

I hope she goes far.

A cute photo shows Starr and Jason along with their caricatures that were drawn at the Four Continents banquet.

It is the last photo at this link. To see it, keep scrolling/swiping past the photos of Jason's exhibition.

Thanks to Spiral for Miles for starting this thread about Starr. :thank:

Love Starr Andrews, and I was happy to see her make an impact at Nationals.

I had heard she is dealing with an injury, and was unable to train her lutz. Is this true?

She attempted triple axel at Autumn Classic, but it was underrotated. Still good for her and if she can get that jump, she will really be a star.

She reminds me bit of Surya Bonaly, with her sass and her costume choices. Hope she can make it to her level too.

I can see her making the Worlds team this year, with the absence of Ashley and Mirai. Of course it depends upon Karen and Mariah, and Bradie probably has one spot, but she could definitely do it.

Starr is a natural energetic performer. She bravely attempted the 3A. Hope she can get it fixed along the 3Lz. Couple that with an improvement in basic SS and gliding, she will be a real star. Her basic skating skills is mediocre now but it will improve.

I love her FP costume, especially the part where she seems to have this jewlery tattoo on her arms. It's looking so good and works perfect with the music! LOVE IT! :luv17:

I think that this GP season is a learning experience for Starr.

Skate America was really not good for her, and she finished in last place. At Skate Canada, she learned to put that performance behind her and focus on the current event. She also learned that when a program starts roughly, to fight it and make the rest of the program count.

She skated much better at Skate Canada, and placed higher as well.

She probably was off at Skate America. She done much better at SC, got her sass back. I do enjoy her programs, she is seriously beautiful. And I love the way she wears her hair.
