Count me in as a fan too! He never really stood out to me until the recent Japanese nationals. He can do a quad sal with such ease and has great spins and posture too. I read online that his mother is Taiwanese. Don't know much else about him but I'll take a look at all the information you provided! :)

Am I the only one surprised that Keiji's fan fest was not created long before? I thought we already have his FF.

So thanks to surimi for the creation!

Thank you for this thread. Love the videos with Dad Keiji and Shoma shenanigans. And isn't that Sui and Han with them?! I'll be anxious to see if he is chosen to do one of the team event programs.

Thank you to everyone for the feedback. ^ ^ I added a couple more links, and have added asterisks to those that are in Japanese and I am not entirely sure about their subject matter. If a speaker of Japanese could clarify, that would be welcome help.
I'm glad I managed to piece the thread together before the Olympics. Do we know yet if he's been confirmed for the team event? There's still a possibility of Shoma doing both programs, though I hope not, for both Shoma's and Keiji's sakes.

Thank you surirmi! It's amazing! :luv17:

I havent checked all contents so far (thank you for your hard work!) , but as for the video below, it is when he tried the role of chief fireman at official event for prompting the safeness of society or preventing fiires. Local government does such kind of event sometimes. His name Keiji (刑事)means policeman in Japanese. That was why he was appointed! :drama:

News is that Shoma is skating the SP and Keiji the FS if Japan qualifies. He's going to Korea on the 8th.

Thanks for the trivia on his name, hamaguri!

Since the Men's team FP takes place tomorrow, here's a video of Keiji's arrival in Korea - https://twitter.com/utami_1122/status/961839634773811200
The same user also has some Team Japan practice/competition photos in their latest tweets.
And, reports by Jackie Wong on how Keiji's practices went:
http://www.rockerskating.com/news/2018/2/6/2018-olympics-practice-notes
No falls on quads as far as I can see; I'm hoping that's a good sign. Wishing Keiji good spirits and good mental resilience tomorrow.

This Twitter is about local news paper.
He and daisuke (takahasi) hsve the same home link.
He has kept following great daisuke who made Japanese men's way.
Keiji was 12 years old and daisuke is 9 years older.

Thanks! :love::)
And Sena Miyake is following the same path as Keiji's. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9hDSlN0G-A4
Let's wish both Keiji and Sena will have a long, injury-free and successful competitive career. :)

Good luck to Keiji in his Olympic debuting skate in the team event tomorrow! :hap10::hap10::hap10:

Best of luck to Dad Keiji in his Team Event FS. Looks like he's been having some pretty decent practices according to rockerskating's notes.
