Amina Gennadyevna Atakhanova, (Russian: Амина Геннадьевна Атаханова) and Nikita Andreyevich Volodin, (Russian: Никита Андреевич Володин) are Russian pair skaters.

Amina was born on 3 May 2002 in St. Petersburg, Russia and Nikita was born on 29 June 1999 in St. Petersburg, Russia.

They teamed up in early 2018 and as early as in April 2018 they won gold at the Russian Youth Championships Elder Age. Amina's previous partner was Ilia Spiridonov with whom she won the 2015–16 JGP Final bronze medal. Nikita's former partner was Alina Ustimkina with whom he is the 2016 CS Tallinn Trophy champion and 2016 Youth Olympic bronze medalist. (Spiridonov's current partner is Lina Kudriavtseva, while Amina Ustimkina in August 2018 started skating with Alexei Rogonov).

They are coached by Alexei Sokolov in Saint Petersburg.

She had a messy landing on the throw but other than that they do look good especially considering the fact that they are a very new pair.

I wonder if they will skate FS this time.

I'm also quite interested to see if the FS is ready. Additionally, I hope they post the video of today's performances later today, as I hope their source video does not have the same issues with the technical glitches.

I'm not sure what part of the country or world you're in (I'm in Boston) so I'm not sure what day you're talking about. I think the FS is Thursday but maybe you're already aware of that.

I wonder if they will skate at the Nationals Elder age next month? I think they are eligible but I am not 100% sure though. If they would win there, or at least medal there, it would increase their chances for JGP events.
