Artur really needs to work on his flip edge. The tech panel isn't going to be lenient every time.
I think he has lost an element somewhere. The jumps looked rotated and ok to me.
This is really stupid from his team :dev2:
He is one of the medalist at the last junior world. I am sure the federation will keep him on the roster.
I hope we'll see him again. I enjoyed his skates here very much!
Danielian finished fifth in the final stage of the junior Grand Prix in Ljubljana, scoring a total of 210.49 points. According to the results of the short program, the skater was in sixth position with a score of 69.30 points. During the performance of the triple flip, the judges fixed the wrong rib. In the free skate the athlete took the second position (141.19). Competitions in the capital of Slovenia were debut in a season for Danielian, who is recovering from injury.
“For the first start, Artur spoke very well, in my opinion,” Buyanova said on the phone. “I do not consider his estimate for the rental of the short program to be correct, because the elements were all performed adequately. I agree with the assessment of the flip, but not with the others. I believe that he proved it in an arbitrary program, all the jumps were performed qualitatively, he has an excellent second grade, extensive skating and excellent programs that go to him. He rolls them with pleasure. "
“Artur had big problems (with health) and, in principle, they remain, but within a month he managed to get together and show good skating. I congratulate our entire team, we are, of course, happy, and we will prepare for the next start,” added a specialist.
