Kamilas Lutz wont hold when she grows. She is a new Julia waiting for puberty with her technique.
Im more impressed by Veronika Zhilina, wow that girl has big jumps, she could add a quad lutz when she debuts in JGP in coming years.

Watching the short programs today...I would say the top 15 or so all have great futures. Zhilina is amazing, but I saw programs with solid jumps, wonderful skating skills, amazing spins. I have to say, the little red head who did the zombie program made my day. I love her. That is all.

Looks like Alina is not yet at Worlds. Evgenia and Sofia are there and their practice started a few minutes ago.

This does not sound good at all. I really hope she is ready. We have so many question marks Alina, Evgenia, Gabby, The ladies will be VERY interesting. Kind of a make it break it situation for Russia. They don't want to be down to two ladies with the Russian baby ballerina/kangeroos (jumpers) entering seniors.

Possible. Still don’t know how Elizabet got here and if Eteri or Dudakov is with her.

Elizabet was with her mom, so I assume she left separately from Eteri and Alina (+ the others from that camp)

I saw in her FF that Alina is there now and will be on the later practice

The odds of Russia going to two are slim. I don't see any of them bombing like Stasya did last year finishing 19th.

Other than Eteris Kazak girl Lilbet competition after Japan and Russia is a major drop off.

I think they will be fine. If there were troubling practice reports maybe I could understand the worry. Of course what matters most is what happens during the competition, but both Alina and Evgenia have looked solid in practice so far. I don’t see an impending disaster.
