And Sofia Samodurova gets a 2nd GP.

Esbrat/Novoselov officially removed from IdF, with Keriven/Pierre withdrawn from the Master's, the only french option is Mendoza/Kovalev...

Jasmine Tessari just posted on IG Stories that they (Tessari/Fioretti) have been invited to Finnish GP

Not sure to replace who...

Really Happy to see a spot in finland go to Tessari/Fioretti. I really liked their FD from Ondrej Nepala. I wonder what happened to Torn/Partanen, does anyone know?

FWIW, Boikova/Kozlovskii look to have two nice assignments. They could definitely make the final.
Pavliuchenko/Khodykin have it a bit harder :( If they can beat Della Monica / Guarise at even just one of the events, then they could get silver and bronze, which might be enough. Beating them both times should do it.

Li and Li/Xie have been crossed out.

Therefore, vacant slots are

Eunsoo please! It would seem cruel not to at this point. And Walsh and Michaud are close by too.

Not sure Japan will pick Eunsoo---she could be real competition for their own ladies.

As for the Pairs, it's pretty late for Skate America.

There are really only 3 Pairs left:

Walsh / Michaud who are at Skate Canada; they'd be back/to back at SA-SC OR SC-FIN
Pfund / Santillan - can't be picked for SA (already 3 US pairs there)
Barquero / Maestu (ESP)

SA is within two weeks but not within 10 days yet; they would be most likely to pick W/M who are close.
FIN is more likely to pick B/M than P/S because of the travel involved.

NHK usually goes by SB list. They don’t look out for their skaters quite as much as other Feds

If the rule is to choose between the 10 best skaters still on the list, NHK can only choose Eunsoo Lim or Hanul Kim, as Japan, Russia and USA have already 3 skaters there. A 2nd GP for Meité or Lindfors would be interesting, but totally unfair for Lim!

By the way, China is organizing Olympics in 4 years and will send no ladies on GP this year... :drama:
