A side note is that this list announced previously was based mostly on the results from All Japan FS Nationals in 2018. And this is NOT an indication of how many GP/JGP spots these skaters will get for the up-coming season! Also, according to unconfirmed news from twitter, the closed-door JGP selection competition will take place during mid June (most likely next weekend).

My personal 'guess' is that Tomoe will stay junior (will benefit from staying one more season in junior.

Just got to catch a IG-story posted by Yuna A. So at least Tomoe, Nana, and Yuna were all at the closed-door test/competition for JGP spots.

Tomoe Kawabata and Nana Araki will compete at the first junior grand prix in France, japanese junior ladies will start strong, good luck to both textbook jumpers! :cheer:

:( poor Mai. I hope she recovers well. This is so devastating to hear. That disease is really taking its toll on her.
