I saw her 3A-3T before junior worlds and i was surprised that she didn't attempt 2A-3T in the free skate but a 3S-3T.

I think she was still uncomfortable with it. Look at how she needs a long set up for a 3A-3T combo here. Her bend knee though is to die for. Can’t wait to see her improvement on this! These youngsters are really serving 3As

Hi all,
I found this video on instagram of a little skater, it took me a while but I finally found the original video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMVnaQOlzeo
I googled her name (I don't know how it transliterates into English, I just searched 황서현) and found this video from the year before https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCNh52iZBNs
I think she made a lot of progress! Can anyone tell me anything about her? How old is she?

The video title says she's in the 4th grade, so I'm guessing she's around 9-10 years old? That's all I know, first time I've heard of her.

*Special mention*
I was very impressed by this program:love:, even though she is not age-eligible for next JGP yet! (and even for the 19-20 season.... OMG) She grew up a lot though, compare to the last season.
Ji won Mo's new short program, Musical Rebeca Korean ver. ost.

Is it bad that I'm the most impressed by Jiwon? She's really improved since I last saw her. Her spins are really unique too. Hae in's second 3T looked underrotated, but she seems pretty clean otherwise. The ina baeur into the 2A in her SP was nice! I enjoy Hyun soo Choi's spunk.

Young's 3A is looking pretty good! Not so sure about the combo, but the 3A itself looks rotated! JW seems to have lit a fire under her.:hap10:

Can't wait to see Yunkyung again. I think I'll be pretty devastated if she doesn't get 2 JGP spots.:sad21:

Twitter said that Seoyeon Ji(KOR) from Ad.novice girls scored about total 128 points and won the event.(2018 Triglav Trophy) Nice job girl:thumbsup: No protocols yet.
This is her free skating fancam for this event. https://youtu.be/m8H8zT47k60

She did 3Lz-3T and 2A-3T quite nice! I believe this is her first time to try triple-triple. And she even has to do novice one more year... (Born in Dec. 2005)

From Rika's twitter

Yelim and Young are in Colorado.
Crossing my fingers that Yelim gets a program from either Josh, Drew or Tom Dickson.

Thanks for the heads up!
Good to see these three girls getting an opportunity to share ice time together in the N.A.
I wonder what's the purpose each of these girls are visiting Colorado for, getting choreography done, some intensive training, or is there a competition being held now in Colorado like the Aerial Challenge or something like they had last year? (But Aerial Challenge was like in early summer if I remember correctly.)

Anyway, even if they are/were there just for choreos getting done, they must have shared some ice time for some practice no matter how short, and being able to see Rika practice her 3A on the same rink must be good for Young who we know has been working on that jump, and conversely Young's progress with her 3A must also motivate Rika in a good way as well.

But more importantly for me personally, I hope it's giving a strong motivation for Yelim as well. I wouldn't be surprised if she has also been practicing the 3A seriously considering the arsenal of jumps she's already had, but so far she has not been witnessed yet, right? Her natural jump talent is undeniable, she makes jumps with arms up actually beautiful (very rare), indeed she has IMO the most aesthetically pleasing rippon jumps, male or female, from Korea or not, and the effortless look of her jumps makes her one of my favorite skaters. But she hasn't made a stellar achievement internationally so far and it has been quite frustrating. It didn't help that the two programs she was given in the 2016-17 season were horribly out of character for a junior skater and so unexciting. I'm truly hoping the next season will be a break out season for her, and just as everyone else abovew I hope she gets wondereful choreos for next season.

Yeah, I definitely still have faith in Yelim, she has talent, as you said her jumps are great, but her programs were some of the worst... It’s like “what program?” There isn’t one. But her being in Colorado now with the other ladies I’m sure something good will come out of it for all of them.

:drama: I know I've been begging for overseas training, but I wanted somewhere for her to work on her skating skills, spins, and transitions!! Um!!!

Marin and Eunsoo in the same place. The fab looks are gonna be all over the place. But still super worried.

Was shocked by Squrtle's over-sea training choice.
Was surprised too, please discuss, fingers crossed for her.
my opinion is that, Squrtile has natural born long limbs but has yet to use them well (e.g. could use more fluidity), and also he needs to work on her smooth skating skill and spins.
I actually thought she might be sent to Team BO like Young You to polish those areas. Did not expect she will be sent to Raf...
