Wow, Donovan made W-T-F skating doodles (typed that way to avoid any filter problems). I love them and a great representation of Donovan, @ anonymoose thx for posting :pray:

OMG I'll probably go to ACI (if I manage to get a ticket :laugh: ) Soooo many skaters that I love will be there, Yuzu, Jason, Jun and now Donovan :luv17:

The exposure will be good for him, he is so charismatic I hope he manages to land a sponsorship

BTW if anyone that does not speak Spanish is concerned about his latest instagram story... it appears he finished some recovery process... not that he is injured.

Today was the deadline to publish the latest JGP lists, not Donovan in JGP Armenia or JGP Slovenia :sad4:

Hopefully, he gets support to participate in other senior events (in addition to ACI) to get scores that allow him to participate in 4CC and Worlds

So apparently Donovan WD from ACI :scratch2: I don't really have any details but someone on twitter that is there right now said that he injured his ankle... I hope this not true

I just discovered this interview that was aired last week and wanted to share. It basically says what we already know (when he started skating, that at the beginning he used his sister's old skates, that he overcame being bullied for practicing FS, that he wants to go to the 2022 OG and that he's giving skating lessons in León to get some money).

Donovan participated in the Open Mexico a week ago, had three really ugly falls in his free program so he retired without finishing the event, it was very likely that he withdrew from ACI. We all wish him a quick recovery :pray:

PS: I received a "friendly" message that indicated that I avoided posting competitions until they concluded, but well, there are other places where I can talk about skating without restrictions :confused2:

I loved the first interview, the second link leads to a search page on twitter, but I saw part of the interview on the Donovan fan page on facebook.

ARSO TV also interviewed Donovan when he was in Puebla, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMkprLwBz9o :luv17: he doesn't mention anything about his next competitions, so we just have to wait and be alert.

Donovan had some activities off the ice in October, went to a marriage, got a couple of sponsors, did some interviews but is still in the process of recovering from his ankle injury (he uploaded an image on his instatory with sports tape)

Recover soon Donovan !! :pray:

Apparently Donovan will participate in the nationals of Mexico, from November 8 to 18, stay healthy Donovan!! :cheer:

I was looking for the results of the Mexico nationals without success :scratch2: , but I discovered the Open Mexico was broadcast live two months ago by Ice Dome Juriquilla (already at that time Donovan had retaken the double axel in the short program) :eek:

In his facebook page, Donovan has shared the videos of his short and free programs of this weekend, is good to know that he is recovering from his injury (only double axel)
