Finally watched last Sunday's short program competition.

WOW, these kids have become so good in their acting skills. Nikolay Koleshnikov is most promising, such a stand out!

I liked all of the routines, the mentors have worked wonders with their charges.

Today the show is shedulled to 16:50 MSK, that is 10 minutes earlier than usual.
There will be final competition, free program of all the participants. The winner have to earn the maximal total points SP+FS, as usual.

I am completely mesmerised by Nickolay Kolesnikov. Keeping my fingers crossed that this jewel grows healthy and mentally strong, because he is extremely talented. Bravo to his family, coaches and to Averbuh for the programs.

The same here. He was unbelievable. It’s still a very long way for him, but if he stays focused and healthy his talent will take him very far.
Ksenia was by far my favorite girl tonight. A wonderful personality.
As far the dances go, I really like Shinkarenko/Mikhailov, but I don’t think they should win the free program. Too many mistakes. It should be Polina and Stepan tonight followed by Evelina and Ilya. Aleksandra and Vladislav would still win overall, but not in the free program.
And there was a colossal difference in pairs between the top three and the rest.

It has been a wonderful show and I am really sad it ended. Can’t wait till next year. I hope to see Evelina and Ilya again.

It’s so disappointing that the 3Lz didn’t work out for so many skaters. They judge a lot on jumps here so with a landed combo Kulikova and Zhilina would’ve been on the podium. I really liked Nika’s program, it suited her a lot. And little Liza has the best artistry out of all the girls [emoji7] it’s a real shame she fell on the 3Lz (she had landed every other time) and the judges always underscore her so criminally on artistry. I’m glad Ksenia was able to pull her jumps together tho and her program was very entertaining - those Kostornaya-like skating skills tho [emoji7] Lyuba Rubtsova has beautiful artistry as well

As for the boys - lil Kolya - I’m speechless! 3S+3T+3T all rippon - every single program on the show he has skated clean - and not just clean, but polished, and he interprets the music so beautifully. How does a barely 10 year old have such refined and controlled skating?
Vsevolod is an entertaining skater too and I’m glad he managed to get silver. He was the oldest there but he is pretty small for his age and I think being with Eteri will help him.
I’m glad little Lev was able to get 3rd too after he had a hard time
And someone finally skated to exogenesis Symphony 2 (Dima)

My congrats to Alexandra Shinkarenko and Vladislav Mikhailov, they completely catched my attention for the last rounds of the show. Very artistic with great skills and chemistry between them. I'm really glad they won.

Melkumova has better skating skills than Kostornaia. Much better. In fact I've never seen any girl with better SS than hers - be it junior or senior. They are just insane.

I was on its train, on rink Moskvich. Her charisma is off the charts. It attracts like a magnet. Similar impressions experienced only once in training monsters in the Crystal Mordor. Then I watched the video with her at the competitions and was not very impressed.In this season Crack of Doom even executed not purely can be compared only to SP of Alina, Anna and Alena . She has a chance to become a nuclear bomb. We'll wait.

Yes. She needs to get to a coach who can work on her jump consistency, because I watched about 10 of her competitions and not once did she have a clean program - not just with triples, but with 2A. She has the ability to sell only certain programs but I guess that will change with age - when she is older we will see big PCS and hopefully much more controlled jumps. She definitely has the potential

Finally been able to watch the final on YouTube replay.

A tad disappointing in the single girls free program, the girls looked overtrained/underrehearsed, so many errors, that 3Lz was cursed today.

Agree with all of the comments, this season was great again. Rightful winner in Kolesnikov, he is truely special.
Liked Kovtun in the judging panel, he is young and not so prejudiced.

Unlike last year's Season 1, there doesn't seem to be a Gala Concert scheduled?
