Thank you!

And I finally got the translation to work (after numerous attempts) but still only on my computer. When I go to cast it onto the TV so kiddo can watch, the translation is lost. So weird. Oh well. He is just watching the skating anyway, and goes back to playing video games when the kids or adults talk.

Yes, it's only on the computer. It doesn't work on mobile devices. I somehow assumed that we were talking about the computer. :)

If Prokrasnetieva/Makarov succeed, which I hope, then I am looking forward to hearing American commentators pronouncing her name. lol

I hope they'll be successful, not because she arguable has a difficult name, but because she is so good... for 9 years old to have such skating skills, musicality and body control is very impressive.

I liked the show, but it also fully demonstrated the hidden power of CSKA in Russian fs. Whoever thinks TAT is nice, jovial elderly TV-mascot lady is delusional. The woman is truly powerful. :scard8:

agree.
I am actually tempted to start adding english subtitles to youtube videos with TAT commenting.
When we watch competitions, users sometimes bring quotes from TAT, but we usually try to keep it nice - you know, drop the fat shaming and so on so russians do not look bad. I wonder if it was a mistake.

I've only just got round to watching her performances and I can't agree with you more, especially with regards to skating skills. In pairs most of the skating is two footed so I usually judge SS on ice coverage while executing twizzles and watching Evelina 'Procrastinate' it seems like she loses almost none of her speed while performing these movements, this child truly possesses remarkable talent!

At the gala video, who is the girl in the red who skates at the end? (with red 'booties'). Holy cow. Just amazed. All of the chidren are lovely and talented, but this little girl just knocked my socks off.

what a performance  pure emotions on ice :luv17:
it got more than 2 millions views already  wow :agree: the most famous adult ice dancers are green with envy
Yet again it shows that being simple is a bless actually - competitive ice dance is too focused on mandatory technical elements to be really interesting for casual viewers, I think :rolleye:
