Wow!! Very nice... cannot tell what the music is and that final lift was
loving her short hair too!!It's pretty obvious that it's their LP from last season. No new programs were performed by any teams at this event according spectators, only some spliced together group numbers.

I've been seeing some... Don't worry they're taking time developing and growing up.
Did you know that Chen Lu's daughter is skating under her tutelage? She wants to represent China one day and become a world champion like her mother (quote from some interview of her).
She is not as developed as some of the other novice? Skaters from China that I've seen, though.

She's my favourite.
She's also practicing a 3A at the moment. Unfortunately, I think she's going through a difficult period right now with landing her 3Lutz and 3F. Her jumps are a bit on the small side too. But her spins!! A straight I-spin and biellman, very reminiscent of Yulia.Her name is An Xiangyi. The nickname is Nini. You might mistake with the two a little bit haha（⌒▽⌒）

They had performances from skaters of the national team such as Peng Cheng, Jin Yang, Zhang Hao and Xiangning Li, as well as some children performances (from An Xiangyi and this cute little ice dance pair).
The Beijing Dance Academy also showcase their skills on ice through some group performances... Which was interesting.
Interesting note: Yu Xiaoyu wasn't there(most likely recovering) but Zhang was there and he skated with Xiangning and this unknown girl. Hmmmmm.....

I haven't heard of any big one so I doubt there would be a grand scale one with all of the National Team.
There are a lot of small shows for ice rink openings and such. I think the pairs at Sanya gave a little show.
The Tianjin show I mentioned is perhaps the largest show thus far. It was broadcasted (I think) and was to start off and encourage ice sports in Tianjin.

Don't know if anyone will be interested. There was a small competition called Asian Junior Figure Skating Challenge in Beijing from June 1-3. Lu Chen's daughter also competed and I think she got 3rd in her level. The winner of this level Jingyi Liu looks promising. She's born in Dec. 2008, and only competed 2A first time in April, but was able to complete successfully in this competition. And according to her coach, she was injured early May, and stopped training for a week. only start to get jumps back a week before the competition. Here is her competition video.
