My crazy predictions:
- Zhenya secretly trains with Boyang and lands a quad lutz with deep outside edge
- Yuzuru finally reveals he's an alien, giving a whole new meaning to 'Continues with Wings'
- Alina says enough is enough and retires. She sells her Gold Medal on eBay and use the money to open an animal sanctuary.
- Shoma becomes a campaigner for the rights of sleepwalkers.

why are this crazy predictions?

Well...maybe the first one is the only one that's a bit of a stretch considering that Chock/Bates and Hubbell/Donohue are going to compete next season (And I do hope the latter team FINALLY gets a GPF medal) along with Hawayek/Baker. GP medal is certainly possible. But we'll have to wait until late in June to see who will go where for GP assignments and looking at the rest of the competition. One of the 2 DC teams probably will get pewter, but the other 5th place. But I have to root for my fave DC teams. I mean they can only go up from here. One year of being in seniors to see what it's like hopefully made them more confident.

hehe ;) cheerknithanson has a tradition of her own : she posts not so crazy predictions that are mostly wishful thinking ones.... i agree that some of these may happen but she is very conservative with her loved ones ;)

I think that she once predicted that Kevin Reynolds would finally win a GP medal and he did... and she was extremely thrilled !

So, bring them on guys!!! Not so crazy to extremely crazy suits this thread... let's just have fun.... it's summer!!!!!!

Waiting for your predictions ;)

Yup yup. I'm pretty sure I did predict it. Omg. I was freaking out when Kevin won bronze at Skate Canada 2016. Though the first one could be considered "crazy" because Chock/Bates, Hubbell/Donohue, and Hawayek/Baker are all competing.

Under Brian Orser's coaching Jason Brown is immediately able to achieve all the quads, including becoming the person to land a quad axel in competition.

Eteri escorts Alina to japan for a show, taxi driver accidentally deposits her at a zen monastery not understanding her accent, (or perhaps he is frightened by her) she instantly becomes enlightened and returns to become a renowned counselor for recovery from anorexia. Her students no longer win because they understand winning is not what it’s about at all now. But are still all very happy now.
(possibly I am just wishful for happiness)

The ISU cuts a deal with a streaming platform that can offer a legit, non-geo blocked livestream for all competitions, for everyone. :)

Omg I wish!! I can only watch non legit dodgy live streams here in NZ if I’m lucky cause the only time FS has been streamed online is Olympics lol

1. McNamara/Carpenter and Parsons/Parsons medal in the GP series, medal at Nationals, and go to Worlds.
2. Stephen Gogolev wins the JGPF.
3. Alexei Krasnozhon decides to compete at junior worlds to try to get that medal he wasn't able to get due to injury (He's still junior eligible).
4. That the length of time for the men's FP and pairs FP and the age to go to seniors stay the same.
5. Alyssa Liu does international competitions.
6. That the US ladies finally get more consistent in jumps.
7. Alina Zagitova wins Worlds (To have a comeback from 2018 Worlds).
8. More 3As and quads are attempted by females.
9. Alaine Chartrand medals at international competitions.
10. Stephen Gogolev medals at junior worlds.

Omg, I really hope number 7 comes true. It might make my year if my bebe skates two clean programs in worlds and gets on the top of the podium 🥇🥇🥇[emoji23][emoji7]

So, i read too much of this thread yesterday, and the dream I had is totally worthy of this.

I dreamed that Hanyu and Konstantinova decided to skate together as ice dance team. Then, they had a program to waltz of the flowers. At worlds, during their skate, the music went off, but they managed to finish skating because the audience started vocalizing / humming the tune. They beat P/C and won a gold medal.

And this is when you know you read too much goldenskate.

Yeah, has that ever actually happened at a big comp? Music going off?

The positive energy in TCC is so high that all of them decide to do a Candyman exhibition together, Eteri is so appalled that the photos of her reaction make Russian news ala Wagner in Sochi.

Chen,Gogolev ,Trusova & Scherbakova decide to have a quad off at GPF exhibition. But, are overshadowed by Aliona Savchenko’s brilliant return landing every quad throw with Bruno.

Trankov decides to give T/M a Jesus Christ superstar program for good luck, but they are beaten at worlds by the Knierems skating to “that man” .

13. Javier wins Four Continents!

14. One of the hot topics of debate during the ISU Congress is what could be done to tackle the issue of national bias. After hours of lengthy debate, watched by thousands of FS fans through live stream, Netherlands proposes a resolution and it gets passed.

Rule 000, paragraph 0
Disciplinary Action for Persistent National Bias
Officials who have judged in three competitions where they give an unfactored component score of at least 1 point higher than the average, for a skater representing their home country, for at least three of the five components are sent on a two month expedition to Antarctica.

After several judges get sent to live with the penguins, judges give every skater 10s.

After several judges get sent to live with the penguins, judges give every skater 10s.

No no no, when those judges come back into circulation, they have developed new and excitingly different standards for what constitutes good skating thanks to their penguin exposure. Skaters who begin to restrict leg movement to the ankle and below, keep arms close to the body, do tiny half-rotation jumps at most and flop down onto their bellies to slide the length of the rink get excellent PCS. Soon the cry goes up from the fans: It's figure skating, not figure sliding!

And the ISU sighs and sets to work again...
